My biggest complaint about the single player in MW2 is it didnt feel like past call of dutys. That is i never felt like i was in an army grouping with other people(or in the case of moder warfare grouping with an elite squad.) COD4 captured the feeling of being in a squad quite well but with the sequel your teammates were just......there, i never felt like they had my back and i was basically rambo doing all the work. The joke "Ramirez do everything" holds far too true. Anyway does black ops feel like that? I saw you mention the teammates are worthless, which makes me think this is a new trend with CODs now and the whole army/squad feeling is sacrificed for Jackie Chan movie moments as i call them. Whether the multiplayer is good or not that makes me already not want this game.
TL;DR Are you actually fighting with a team or are you just Rambo with some lackeys again?
Correct me if im wrong but didnt they make shotguns a primary weapon again so snipers are back to just rifle and pistol? So the complaint about scout is moot?
Also i went with the last stand perk, ive always hated it and wished it would be taken out of the game.
Im throwing it out there but the first season was so damn good i think with a few more just like it it will surpass seinfeld and the office as the "perfect comedy show." Well maybe not to the mass public since seinfeld and (american) office is pretty clean and louie is actually doing something original and unique thats littered with filth and crude language, which personally i love since it makes it so damn real, it doesnt feel like prewritten hackey garbage.
Maybe its just a case of me playing too much but i got the ps3 a few months after it was released and ive burned through 3 controllers and starting to see my fourth beginning to crap out on me. The problem with every single one is the left analog stick, since almost every single game(especially first person shooters) involves holding up for hours on end it makes something loose and screws up the stick. Its bearable with some games but if i say play call of duty my character slowly crawls forward in game cause the stick is jacked up. Its become an annoyance having to either deal with it or shell out the 60 bucks or whatever it costs to buy a new one.
Now ive been gaming for a long time and ive never seen controllers crap out so badly, hell even my ps2 controllers analog sticks still work fine. The closest ive come was N64 controllers from ridiculous amounts of hours with Goldeneye, but even then it wasnt nearly as bad as the ps3 controllers. Im just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or is it just me?
