I really enjoyed the first Prey - there's a couple of great moments in that game that I still clearly recall.

But Prey '17 is my jam. Deus Ex and Bioshock are both dead for now. And it's gonna be a while before we see the System Shock 1 remake, and even longer before System Shock 3 sees the light of day. Prey fills that gap nicely.

It's not the most I've seen on a single site, but it's certainly up there.

ME1's gameplay may not hold up terribly well, but man, it's just dripping with atmosphere. And while it's obviously setting up the trilogy, it works as a self-contained story - something the sequels don't do.

I need to see if there's a good controller patch for the PC version... play through that again.

PEBCAK - I have peerblock enabled on my Plex server, and it was blocking the GB media server. Peerblock had identified it as Sportsline.com. I unblocked 64.30.228.82, and all is well.

@jslack: Just added it, but didn't seem to make a difference.

I've been unable to get the channel to work for several weeks.

Linear corridors are a defining feature of Bioware games, going back to KOTOR and probably further.
