This made me want to go looking for who it is, so... Spoiling it for myself. It's not The Joker, it's not Hush, it's not Azrael, it's Jason Todd. Or it might not be, I still don't know. The Batman Wiki site has already added Arkham Knight's name under one of the characters aliases. We'll see. I'm not sure what significance that really means to me personally if this is who it is.

I haven't looked up anything on the matter but this is who I always figured it would be. Seemed pretty obvious.

Did you buy the Limited Edition? Apparently those have been delayed, unfortunately.

I got an email that mine will be ready for pickup tomorrow. That article only mentions Amazon and Gamestop Finland.

Also you can see it's the regular edition in that screenshot.

It was too slow for my liking, but I guess with the prevalence of controllers now you can't make anything as fast as old Doom anymore. That's a shame.

Aw hell no I always hated silent protagonists. Bioshock infinite did a great job in this aspect with Booker's voice actor. I would much prefer for the protagonist in the new fallout to have a voice and a damn good one. It makes for a lot of immersion for me at least when the character has a voice and especially a good one.

At least if the community is so splitted maybe bethesda can make the voice optional, somehow.

Todd Howard said that each of the voices for both protagonists have been recording in the studio for two years, with it being about 1300 lines of dialogue each.

I don't think there's anyway they're making it optional.

That's not a whole lot. Considering you appeared to have 4 options for each dialogue choice, that means ~300 choices, considering a good chunk of dialogue will likely be story-based or incidental.

Nope, I'm calling it now. Fallout 4 will be released later this year. They gain nothing by waiting this long to announce it and then putting off the release another year.

Has anyone floated the theory that it WAS supposed to be out (or at least announced) last year, but the Boston Marathon bombings were too recent at the time? Because that, along with how unimpressive it is visually, makes me think it's been sitting on the shelf for a little while.

As someone who owns too many Criterion Blu-Rays, I agree with this sentiment. But Digital Eclipse has not exactly engendered the same amount of goodwill.

The video player won't remember my preference, it keeps reverting back to "streaming/auto" instead of "progressive/hd".

I might be interested in the game if it were self-aware and full of black humor, but it's not. It looks like the developers really were playing all of this straight,

Things don't have to be slapstick to be humorous. Leslie Nielsen was only funny when he was playing things completely straight. That's where the comedy came from. The protagonist's speeches and one-liners are hilarious. I don't see how people can actually think this game is serious with lines like "Birds of a feather... Die together!" and a main character that looks like Nathan Explosion.

It's pretty silly, but I guess because there aren't fart noises or something it's being mistaken for a legitimate attempt at being Grim N Gritty. Before the QL I wasn't sure about the game's intentions, but after watching it (and the game's ending), I think it's pretty unmistakable. That said, it doesn't change how the game just seems wholly mediocre. Not terrible, not great, just yet another unremarkable indie title on Steam.

Quick Look incoming according to the front page. Hoping we get Jeff or Vinny or whoever covers it laughing at the dumb speech the guy makes at the beginning. Anything beyond that is a bonus.

It's already uploaded on Gamespot for some reason.

I was expecting it to be a Gbeast QL. I wonder why we haven't had any this week.

theyre still getting used to the new office.

GameFly the PS4 version to play it the first time, then buy it and all the DLC on PC for like 5 dollars in a couple of years.
