Let Me Shape Some Sounds 1

So, ever since this game was announced I've been a little weary of it. Everyone talked about how great it was and how it really got them interested in what could come out on the Vita. The thing is, all of those people were right. This is a fantastic game. It is simple, and fun, and is completely worth the $15. The controls are a little frustrating at first, but that is true for a lot of games. After an hour or so with it I found myself able to play through the campaign no problem. The platforming...

Awesome Racing on the Vita 0

Let me begin this review by saying the short version of this: If you have a Vita, you should download this game, it's free, what's stopping you?Ok so onto what I have to say about the game.Let's start out with the general gameplay. It is a top down racer and drives and feels great. I had to adjust the controls to what I wanted them to be (Acceleration on the X button and reverse on the square), but afterwards I always felt like I was controlling the car fairly well. All of the vehicles felt diff...

Resistance: Story Time 0

Insomniac Games has been one of my favorite developers of all time, and while some people did not like Resistance 2 at all, I quite enjoyed it, but Resistance 3 is by far the best First Person Shooter Insomniac Games has developed thus far.Playing through the single player of this game was one of the best story experiences I had had this year. They did a wonderful job making me genuinely care about the characters and what happens to them within the game. This could aslo be because I have been in...

A Marvel to Behold 1

Going into Uncharted 3 one could say I was more than a little bit excited. After Uncharted 2 I was more than ready for more globe trotting, train hopping, ass kicking action than ever. Among Thieves set such a high precedent for what could follow that I honestly wondered if they could live up to their own standards. I loved Uncharted 2 so much, and played the hell out of the multiplayer that I enjoyed so much, that every other video game that year fell to the waste side. Uncharted 3 was an insta...

All that Power 0

Entering the world of the original inFamous was amazing. I loved the way the game moved and all the beats it hit. It made me feel like I was in control of what I could do and when I could do it. Of course not being able to find those last two blast shards put a dampen on how I felt about the game... Nah, it helped. I loved simply looking for them and climbing everywhere I could. Of course this set the standards high for inFamous 2.  When I started inFamous 2 I felt immediately at home. The contr...

Great Start to a Great Series 0

This is the first game in the series that I played, and thank goodness it was. I would've been so lost in the story line. But that is besides the point.Ratchet and Clank is great platformer and shooter. It has a vast collection of unique weapons, the Agents of Doom was my personal favorite. It also has  a great cast of characters, some of which who have a reoccurring role in later Ratchet games. All the levels are unique and colorful and provide a great universe to explore. This is the game that ...

Favorite Burnout So Far 0

I have rented this game multiple times and am unable to tare my hands away from my controller. All of the different aspects of this game are near perfection. All the different challenges have me driving around Paradise City like a mad man. I just want to complete them all. Online is pure addiction. If I do not have the game on me I sometimes play the demo online, which is fun. There are, as with every game, some flaws. I sometimes get lost in the giant landscape that is Paradise City and the surro...
