I finished Shadow Warrior 3 the other day. Its very short and bare bones. 5 hours, 6 guns, no meaningful upgrades or ability unlocks, no bonus modes or new game plus. No secrets or side content.
It felt very rushed and incomplete, like covid completely screwed whatever plans they had for the game as Shadow Warrior 2 was a like 3 or 4 times bigger more ambitious game I think.
I'm so glad so many people loved Psychonauts 2 as much as I did. An absolute gem of a game. And totally worth playing even if you never played the original like I didn't. SO many wonderful characters and cutscenes, top tier voice work and some gripping story stuff and whacky fun humor.
Wow. I couldn't disagree more with that, I adore the pro controller its the most nice feeling gamepad I've ever had. I've been through three 360 controllers and still use the ps4 one on pc and I much prefer the Switch Pro one over all of them.
This is the most video game video game. Seems like they made no attempt at all to do anything unique with it whatsoever, just another grey sludge of a game. Like the whole thing was pre built assets all bolted together. Even if the story and visuals were the same they could have done something with gameplay some cool set of mechanics or abilities. Imagine if it had no guns and all ranged attack was cool summons or something that'd be fun.
Such a shame to see this from PCF as I adored Bulletstorm for its dumb writing and fun whip and score mechanics.
Finished this today and have to say fairly disappointed just not as good as the first game was. Has some cool moments but level design not as polished and monsters not as good as the firsts were.
The dumb edginess and horny bs is normal for cyberpunk fiction but sadly I too expected cdpr to possibly be a bit more, above all that typical shit and its sad that they weren't.
Hopefully the first few patches will fix a lot of the bugs with the game, sounds like jeff n jeff were forced to go with what they had and at least the rest of us can wait patiently for a more complete version of the product. But man its so emblematic of the times we live in with games that a thing can release in the state cyberpunk is.
I just got done pre loading it on steam, and I've got so many other games to finish I might literally just put off starting CyberP until I know its not rife with endless jank.
