So you're a delivery man, interesting. As long as the traversal is fun and satisfying and varied and not just slow tedious slogs from place to place I could see this being very cool. He did pull out a rifle though so theirs probably locations where regular gun fights will break out? hmm.
Good lord those dynamic animations, I can see the systems at play too. It's like the punch lasers of uncharted are now spread out to ranged and environment interaction now. Amazing tech on display, seems one could have a very different experience 2nd time through with this game. Yeesh have they ramped up the gore and uncomfortable realism though, I imagine this game will have many scenes that are difficult to partake in.
Man I love this micro system stuff game seems way up my alley.
Almost seems a little excessive though between the morale and finance systems. Hoping once you get a ways in you can have more leeway and just say fuck it with heavy mechs kitted out in everything.
As a long time fan of the bt franchise I'll probably lose my shit over the mere sight of a timberwolf once again.
I've been wanting to try this but how is the group finding is it only a good idea to play with friends
My two friends and I have been doing randoms for a good number of weeks now and most players we encounter are pretty decent, least in our segment of the player base anyway. What's good is you don't need to communicate to do well, its mostly just if you get paired with a super new player who doesn't know about the tomes and grims it can get frustrating at times.
Like Left4Dead it only really gets unplayably bad if someone is a complete idiot and runs off on their own.
Titan Armor is the monumentally important game changer guys next to your plasma weapons for raw damage just so you know. Please don't put off getting it for too long if you want to have an easier time simply keeping the soldiers you want to keep from dying.
Hoping to start this up proper this weekend with my buds, soooo damn fun in co-op enjoy it way more than I ever did left 4 dead. Love all the changes they've made since the first.
It's unfortunate that Abby is having such a hard time. I think if she maybe tried to get use to the way the games clicks work in relation to camera elevation and rotation (since using both always helps a lot with this) she'd be having more fun. It really is that simple honestly, you just need to get use to the fact this game has to be played like a 3d game and not a 2d game a lot of the time. It's just how it is. If you actively fight against it you'll inevitably run in to its design shortcomings and be frustrated.
