Probably because they wouldn't have watched it at all if they had to watch the full cut originals which lets be real even the biggest dbz fans will admit are absolutely bloated with dragged out tedious nonsense and tonnes of awful pacing theirs so much pointless wasted time.
But yeah downside is missing out on the goofier filler episodes, goku and piccolo learning to drive still one of my favorites too. That and some of the english vo's are different in the kai versions and theirs certain line reads I still much prefer with the old funimation dubs.
Amazing game becomes even more amazing hooray! I never did finish the original so great that I now have a good reason to do it all again. Damn its pretty now.
If anyone who hasn't watched Super wants to be extra confused about Goku Black, he's technically not Goku at all. Oh it's dumb, real dumb. Super is basically one big endless series of fan fiction what if stories, in jokes, references to dragonball memes etc. It's a very silly sequel series but also kinda amazing for the same reason.
Right now Frieza is alive again and is helping Goku defeat the latest toughest strongest guys in a tournament set inside another dimension. And Goku is single handedly responsible for the deaths of trillions upon trillions of people and the show doesn't acknowledge this at all.
Lastly, why is X-Com 2 on this list? That game came out almost 2 years ago (next month). Shouldn't that be disqualified from the list since it was not a game released in 2017?
War of the Chosen Expansion came out and theirs no unique listing for just that so people voted for the old listing. It significantly overhauled the game and made it that much more amazing (load times down to mere seconds etc), easily making it better than the first. It is highly worthy and deserving of a 2017 vote.
Holy shit I only just clicked this and what the fuck at some of these awful choices and unbelievable omissions. Gosh I can't even finish the podcast now knowing where it ends up, this is just... so disappointing. What a terrible clusterfuck urgh.
Can't believe Horizon especially got shafted, what the hell with that. Literally one of the best open world games made to date with some of the coolest funnest to fight enemies in a game ever. And no BEN they do NOT look like the god damn bayformer robots ffs. Hearing that shit was infuriating its so ignorant and wrong.
The more these convos I've listened to the more I've strongly disagreed and become really annoyed. Horizon was absolutely amazing and I loved its weapon system and loved its story and loved fighting the big robots which do not at all look like bayformer robots. bah! So many awful choices this year.
@slag: I finished the story campaign yesterday and oh my god was it awesome. Literally wanna replay it already haha. And best of all the ultimate edition on stream which has every single piece of dlc is well worth it right now. So many awesome characters. Production value of the game is astounding.
Me and a buddy finished it super fast, its literally like 2 hours of story content and a bunch of tedious repeatable side stuff as always. Re-uses assets like a mofo and gets very samey feeling up until the end boss which was super basic but looked cool and fun to shoot with rockets.
Overall made me glad I got the base game for half price. Destiny 2 is certainly not worth full price at all. I really hope the next dlc is more substancial or the season pass is gonna feel like a rip off bleh.
