Not the perfect sequel to Arkham Asylum I wanted but damn close. Less riddler junk and a slightly bigger more interesting world would have made it better but eh, Batman still takes the lead for me this year.

I thought long and hard about just how much I liked DS2, and recalling my 6 or so playthroughs of this amazing game I just had to put it high on my list.

Some repetitive monotony in the side content and lack of options stopped SR3 from being a glorious masterpiece but that core game is just so good, so damn clever and dumb and funny and weird, man do I wish more games tried to do the same, especially in the current industry.

One of the mot underrated, unappreciated, grossly unfairly ignored kick ass shooters EVER made. God I have never had so much fun with a single player fps before in my life.

I am a 40k fan and I have literally been waiting a decade and a half, at least, for this game and while it lacked content and was way too short fuck me was it the best 40k experience ever.

I would place P2 higher on my list but I dunno neither game really made me lose my shit like so many gamers did. Maybe its my natural lack of impatience and ease of frustration when it comes to puzzles that lowers my interest in them. Nonetheless amazing games and unlike some people I enjoyed 2 way more.

Gears 1 wasn't a big deal for me and Gears 2 while fun was pretty overrated, 3 however, wow. I actually spent many many hours playing its various modes and when the story dlc comes around I might just go and play it. Best cover shooter of the generation for sure.

In comparison to Uncharted 2, 3 was disappointing. It had its awesome moments but geezus did I get annoyed by the shooting and traversal many times. The reason its on this list? no one does story and presentation like Naughtydog, no one.

Boy do I have a soft spot for this series. While everyone else spews out another shitty simulation, Evolution is all to happy to cater to people like me who just wanna drive monster trucks off crumbling sky scrapers while volcanoes explode near by. IS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK FOR!

A surprisingly good hybrid indi game that I am going back to as much as I did Defense Grid. Its cheap, awesome and has 4 player co-op. Everyone should play it, and when they do they should LEARN HOW TO PLAY. For. fuck. sake. PLEASE!
