Dear god was this game amazing, I lost count how many times I replayed every level. 100%ed everything, even the often annoying as fuck rune challenges. Totally worth it to get all them sick upgrades. Please please please let their be a sequel.

Oof. Inside sure was a thing. Anyone who's experienced that end sequence knows exactly what I'm talking about when I say I have never been quite as disturbed by a game as I have been during that... part and its not like the rest of it was all sun and flowers either. Gleefully and wonderfully bleak.

Shut up I only got around to playing it this year and boy was I glad I waited to do so until I had a decent graphics card. This game was astonishingly fun to play through.

Again, yes yes I know, be quiet. I played it this year and man or man what an awesome time I had. GTA always had a kind of jankiness to it but 5 was the first that really felt like they finally nailed what they had been aiming for for years and years. So damn fun, so many fantastic characters. Trevor is basically me in a video game if I really liked meth, guns and crime.

Holy crap is Deathwing the best first person warhammer anything in forever. Brutally hard on normal, satisfying on easy and despite the occassional performance hiccups and crashes still immensely fun to be a genuine slow, plodding wall of a SPAYYCE MAWEEEENN.

Look I barely played anything new this year alright? And I did run through Xcom 2 again, at max settings on my fantastic new pc with its extra single player dlc stuff and while it got stupidly unfairly brutal at times still overall just as fun.

I fucking love the RnC games so damn much. And the incredibly fun gameplay is the only thing that resulted in me replaying this over and over and over, that and nostalgia. Boy was the revised story stuff terrible.

I sunk like 3, maybe 4 hours tops in to overwatch, got sick of dying and being paired with idiots fighting against leet super god ultimate hyper noscope bad asses, got tired of the game modes and generally lost all interest in every playing it again till it gets decent co-op or single player. Doesn't help my pc kept randomly crashing while I was trying to play too.
But man talk about a cast of characters I could not possibly love more than I do.

I'm only a few hours deep but seems like a decent enough game so far. Still causes me a lot of frustration with its plodding gameplay and sloooow story stuff when all I wanna do is be cool cyborg man. Ah well maybe when I'm finished I'll have enjoyed it more than Human Rev.

I really didn't want to put this on this list but I seriously like ran out of new games for this list. Fuck Uncharted 4 was way way too long and got so tedious and the gameplay sucked compared to 2's and man everything but the story just pissed me off.
But it was a 2016 release I played, so here it is.
