@shift9: That's ridiculous. Because a couple of people are assholes doesn't mean you can't talk about how poorly the dev is responding to what they knew would be a controversial decision. They were outright rude to people with genuine concerns about currency and availability. If they had just been honest about needing the extra money to make sure to deliver the game in it's best form there would be hardly any backlash. Some, but nothing like we saw. They handled it poorly and didn't follow up well in response either. So yes they deserve backlash, but no they don't deserve personal attacks.
I think a lot of the hate about Epic store is a little overblown for sure but Brad skipped over a huge part of that story which was the statement the Ooblets dev made when announcing the Exclusivity was incredibly insulting and patronizing and in bad taste. Then the discord replies to genuine concern were so tone deaf it's pulled me against them on this. They did this as poorly as possible. Death threats and personal attacks are never called for, but being upset about the statement and reactions seems pretty warranted. Also Epic is a garbage store with no features and leans way to heavily to the devs as opposed to the consumer. I'll likely get Griftlands, but I've turned down so many free games just for how bad the store is. Nothing about Tencent or anything because they're everywhere. Just a really bad storefront and consumer experience.
Love it. i'm super happy because Dan played my level but i knew it wouldn't be on because he didn't finish it and i didn't see Ben's name on there. I'm pretty sure all my levels from now on will have a GB in them though just in case lol. I had a couple I would have loved to have these guys play but were already uploaded.
I just spent all of Saturday struggling to do this myself, then this vid drops the next day out of the blue. Glad to hear about the plus button fix. I'm going to stick with the famicon colors for now it just looks so sweet. I'm going to have to order one with the dpad though. That's a nice upgrade. Probably going to paint the white eventually as well. really begging for some sort of more comfortable top coating.
This is a cool feature that I'm looking forward to. I haven't bought a GTA since 2 because I just can't stand the gameplay so i hadn't seen the Payday heist stuff. I'm definitely looking forward to the gang all playing this together because it seems like it'll really get them to bounce off each other in fun ways. The heists seem pretty cut and dry boiler plate stuff but will provide some fun moments for the crew I have no doubt. Also the more Heat references we can get out of Alex the better!
@drakoji: they haven't said what the low end was but it sounds like it'll run on lowwe speed internet. And when you can get 10 tfps 4k or even HD on a chrome book powered pc or even a tv alone why would you spend $600+ on a GPU? Some will but most won't
I came in fully expecting to think it was going to be a throw away overhyped ouya and here i am shook about what the possibilities are. This looks amazing and I want it. I have gigabit internet with a very consistent stream. Hook me up! If this gets popular how low do GPU cards fall in price?
