The only part that bothers me is the blood splash on the characters. It would be nice if it was a progressive thing, like you would only get that effect after a very long fight. Seeing that after killing 3 rats is kinda ridiculous.
@Mithlas: Final Fantasy XII was definitely more gameplay than story. Actualy that was one of the biggest complain I heard about the game at the time. Although the story was very indepth, after the 6/7 hour mark, it was revealed only in small chunks. I guess it counts as an exception in the genre. I think Persona 4 still has more story than the average JRPG though, and it doesn't help that it's very slow some times.

I have to agree. Randomly generated dungeons are always boring. Spending time with Chie never gets old. :p
@Hamst3r: Persona 4 is slow and tedious even for an JRPG fan like myself. I like that game a great deal but you have to admit that the vast majority of the 60 to 100+ hours spent in it is spent pushing X and reading dialogue. MGS4 feels like it's all gameplay compared to this.
