I played some Fallen London back in the day but its free to play model with the timers and all turned me off and I drifted away. I didn't give Sunless Sea much time because of the bad taste left in my mouth from the first game. Or maybe because I died a lot. I really like the style and writing in these games, so maybe I should give this new one a shot.
The music in these games is great. I bought the soundtrack to Sunless Sea; it's so good.
Thank you for giving this type of game some coverage. It must be more difficult to showcase a text-heavy game, and you all do it quite well. I love these kinds of Quick Looks!
@brad: That's exactly where I'm at right now. After that UPF, I dove down the rabbit hole for several hours reading about builds and boards, looking at the github wiki and the sellers on Etsy. I'm definitely going to get one, but for now I'm listening to everyone talk about it and sort it out.
It looks fun and it's definitely a step up from my RetroPie beginnings.
I love the coverage of it here on Giant Bomb, both the discussions and the demos. I hope there's more to come!
What people are saying is right: eezo is found on garden world type planets.
Also, heavy weapon ammo is a shared pool. Whatever heavy weapon you choose uses that same pool, though sometimes it displays in different units. 1 shot on the black hole gun or cryo gun might appear as 100 units of juice on the flame thrower.
I want a Mass Effect Trilogy remaster so much. I don't even need a remake (changing systems or gameplay), even just updating visuals would be enough for me to buy it yet again.
What's Rorie's shirt from? Third eye and the 'fro reminds me of Garnet from Steven Universe. I tried to google it and then this happened and I don't even.
Did we ever find out? Cuz I'm curious too. Matt always seems to be wearing an interesting t-shirt and I'd love to hear the stories behind some of them. I kept staring at this one the whole time. Doesn't it say "So Phine!"? Had no luck with that.
