Hell of a year. First half spent living with my parents, no job, played a lot of Sekiro and others. Second half moved to a new place with "room mates" and have been slaving away at Amazon for 15 an hour to pay the "rent," so not as much time for games...sad for me but also don't really care. Pleasing Daddy is it's own sort of game isn't it?
Didn't actually beat it but it was gorgeous and I got to at least the last boss. Felt like a more stream-lined version of the Souls games, with a distinctly Japanese setting.
This game was kind of cool. It was funny and violent and kind of addicting with the leader boards. It's a game about running through levels killing guys as fast and as stylish as possible, getting combos for killing guys consecutively. I thought the off the wall sense of humor and settings of the levels was cool. I mean, you have to kill the dictator of the internet?
This game was fun. An amalgamation of Bioshock, Fallout and Mass Effect IF YOU ASK ME! I know...you aren't.
Played through the campaign with a friend co-op. Was pretty run of the mill but still fun. Shooting ice on a frozen lake and having the Horde fall into the water was cool.
I enjoyed the metro-sexual style of the characters that the Japanese seem to find so appealing. One of the characters, V (?) read poetry in order to power up or whatever which was pretty funny. Oh yea, and the Michael Jackson dance cut scene when Dante gets the hat is good.
I actually played this game before it was finished so I don't know how much they changed...probably not much. The story was bonkers, and the gameplay was kind of bonkers in it's own right. It was a good game in terms of Japanese quirk but I found the game play to be a little frustrating at times.
This game felt BUDGET but it was still pretty fun. A good co-op experience...very hard but some cool looking monsters to shoot at.
