Full disclosure, I did not have the chance to play many of the games a person would normally nominate for such awards. So much so that I feel a little weird about making a top ten this year and, maybe putting it off. I may come back and do a 2012's best of 2011. All this said, I didn't play Batman, Skyrim, Saints the 3rd, Skyward sword, and really anything that came out in the latter half of the year.
I loved everything about this game. The story is top notch, The writing was superb, The co-op was interesting yet enjoyable. I found myself wanting more after it was all over but, In a very satisfied way.
Did this game piss me off? Did this game destroy me? Did this game make me restart 3 times because I fucked myself over or, Thought I was making no head way? Is this game on some other level bullshit? The answer to all is yes. Is this one of the best games I have ever played? Just maybe.
After KOFXII I was depressed to a degree I have not been in years. This game came in to save that day and, Cuddle me, Tell me everything is going to be just perfect. You know what? It really is. I love fighting games and, honestly this is the best fighting game in the world. If you have some silly hang up about this game. You should first see a shrink about your poor choices in life then go pick up a copy of this game.
I raged hard at a number of the puzzles but, honestly I had a good time and, Still there is nothing like this on the market. The story at times can seem a bit weird but, That's one of the things you have to expect from a japanese dev. Atlus has some huge balls for putting this out. I'm super glad they did. The good ending is kind of wishy washy but, The bad ending is by far one of the best things ever put into a video game.
I should or would have this further down on the list but, You know what. The story in this game is fun. The characters in this game are fun, well acted and, well written. This game pretty much plays like Resident Evil 4 or 5, there is one really bad gallery shooting scene but, Despite itself, It's still pretty damn fun to play and, had me telling my friends about various parts with a joy in my voice. The story and, The journey should not be missed.
I spent more time playing this game than anyone I know or seen. Even after most of my friends told me it wasn't that fun or, they didn't like it and, Hearing the same from most of the gaming peoples. I still don't give a shit. This is zombies ate my neighbors with zelda dungeons and that's pretty fucking alright to me. This game is like that weird friend you met because, At this party he puked in a fish tank then pulled his dick out and, waved it at the dog. He could of made a better intro perhaps but, Once sober He's pretty awesome dude actually plus, not as shallow as you once thought. I honestly wasn't going to get this game. I thought it was a shit fest waiting to happen. I hoped people could fly wouldn't let me down. Honestly I wanted to write this off then, I played the demo and loved it. The first quarter of this game while fun seemed like too many bad dick jokes and, Swearing for no reason. It goes a little deeper then that but, even if it had no story but, "HEY YOU KICK THAT DUDE IN THE FACE THEN WHIP HIM BACK THEN SHOOT THAT DUDE TILL HE DIES!" I would of had it lower on my list but, still in the top 10. That shit is just damn fun.
I love rez and anything to do with it. So fuck you this is on my list ... I don't give a fuck! Also, Stop saying it's a bad game. You are a bad game... ASSHOLE! As you can see me and Matt Rorie go to the same insult school.

I am making time in the near future to beat this game but, Haven't had a chance yet. Still a damn fine game.
