I enjoy a couple of beers at the weekend or on special occasions, get really drunk perhaps once a month, maybe even less than that. Don't like being able to spew yesterday's dinner into the sink, so I limit myself to the point where things get silly and amusing. But my girlfriend also has concerns about me going out sometimes (we live apart and she's currently suffering from anxiety) so I try to be thoughtful and limit it to the point of being socially polite and/or treating myself to a lad's night out every now and then.

When you feel that it's right. If you're having to ask random strangers on a website, it probably isn't a relationship just yet, because you still have doubts. The other option is to ask him yourself (obviously be casual about it, don't make it uncomfortable.)

Either on PC or console, I'm sure the game is going to be awesome, both technically and gameplay wise.

Isn't this the most important thing? Unless it's ported badly (doesn't seem likely), everyone's gonna be rocking it on whatever platform they want to be, there's no cross-platform play so it's not a case of mouse/keyboard vs controller. Just enjoy the game for what it is guys - a game.

On a different note, motherfucking game looks sick!

I feel it kind of defeats the point if you can only have one controller. Why carry on playing the game when you could play a 3DS game with someone else?

Also, I feel like their main selling point is a bit strange, because surely with the PS3/PSV cloud saving abilities, you can do something similar, but its a dedicated handheld as well?

Knifing system more dramatic, spectacular

If it's anything like Halo's assassinations/Killzone's melee, it'll rock. The spectacle of melee attacks is part of the key to the triumph of finally knifing the bastard sniper who's been giving you such a hard time.

The worry is it becomes like AVP's melee system, which was spectacular, but badly paced and ruined the game, or COD's ninja melee skills, where everyone can knife across the map in a flash.

I do hope the knife is a tad quicker than BC2 though, because it really felt kind of awkward knifing at points.

I had to ask myself this when my old one died earlier this year. I brought a new slim and haven't regretted it at all, and I've never regretted getting a PS3 over other consoles.

I fail to see how Battlefield will be played on this, rather than on a normal controller/mouse and keyboard. It looks so bad! And for games that use the touchscreen, it just seems a gimmick.

Obviously Nintendo have never heard of handhelds to play games on rather than consoles.
Or the iPad.

I find that the sheer amount of games and the time window in which they are released is more of a killer for replay value for me. I absolutely love the MGS series, but will I buy the HD collection? I don't know, because there's about 6 other games coming out around then and I just don't have the time to blast through them all at an enjoyable speed while maintaining some sort of a social life.
