Look at it as the book equivalent of a Dead Space: Downfall. It's a bit pulpy, but as an expansion on the universe it's perfect! Read all 3 pretty good read
" I'm so confused. Listening to the 'cast and it seems like Brad's the only one liking Minerva's Den, the rest of the guys are just telling him to shut up... yet it won in this list? What? "
I love the fact when they're talking about best downloadable game Brad says something along the lines of "50% of Giant Bomb is of the opinion that Limbo is the best downloadable game". so I guess when 75% of Giant Bomb was of the opinion that ME2 had the better DLC it didn't matter tho lol "
Yeah, Brad's kind of annoying this year. Yesterday he was hypocritical, using stats to support one argument then ignoring it to support another, and today he's just being a stubborn child with the argument of "But I liiiiiike it." I normally like Brad but... damn. Jeff's irrational Limbo hate was kinda worse, though. "
i liked how all the arguments Brad used against Shadow Broker was also completely applicable to Minerva's Den. I'm getting the distinct impression they just gave it to Minerva's Den so Brad would shut up. :|
" It's a shame that Mass Effect didn't stay 360 exclusive. Hey, I have a PS3, I just feel the identity is suited to Xbox and they really need that cool image, cause Halo is done! You know some people specifically bought an Xbox 360 for these games and feel it's a slightly unfair that Sony is getting all this catch up, but ME2 only sold like 2.5 million copies so can understand where BioWare is coming from. "
Console exclusivity has always been, and will continue to be, complete and utter bullshit. "
It sucks, but then again, exclusivity is a byproduct of Sony console design. First party Sony dev houses like Naughty Dog are now so used to the PS3 development cycle and workflow, and they take advantage of that console's unique set of hardware and rendering pipeline features that, if a game like Uncharted would be multi-platform, it would suffer on all other platforms severely (if they don't hire a completely separate team to develop the other version correctly (you probably can't just bake/port Uncharted to another console the way it is programmed now). Much like how multiplatform games suffer when ported to PS3 these days (brotherhood/Anvil engine games). "
Except that the Anvil Engine and every game that has ever used it (Prince of Persia, Assassin's Creed etc...) has been more solid technically on the PS3 versions of the games. "
funny how Digital Foundry always claims the exact opposite
