Have you considered a wireless mouse?

Hear me out.

If the specific type of cord is a factor, a wireless mouse might weirdly work for you since you can use most of them in wired mode - this would allow you to supply a USB cable of your choice (and replace it if the same thing should happen). The only downside is you'd be paying for wireless functionality you wouldn't be using.

Still haven't finished the main game yet. 150+ hours. I wish From games weren't so long.

Elden Ring. And at the rate it's taking me to get through it I may not buy anything else until 2023.

Final Fantasy 7. I was on the third disc and my save got corrupted (shitty 3rd party memory card). Couldn't bring myself to start it again.

I think you definitely made the right choice playing the first game first. Even though there are some things I like better about the first game, it would have been a disappointment playing it after some of the incredible levels in Dishonored 2.

I haven't played it since the year it came out, but I thoroughly enjoyed it at the time.

I don't know if I'd recommend it in this day and age, but PS2 game Cold Winter had a super satisfying head pop, especially when you did it with the big M1911 style hand cannon thing.

PS2 for me. Those swirling orbs coming out of the mist, and dreamy, ambient noises were like primordial building blocks, waiting to turn into fantastical worlds, and astonishing adventures. And a then state-of-the-art rendering of a Nissan Skyline or whatever, I guess, since I played a lot of Gran Turismo 3 back then.

I have not played the beta but a lot of what I've heard has killed any interest I had in this game. I haven't played a Battlefield since 4, and was looking to return to the series, but it isn't going to be with this one.

The problems with largely abolishing the classes have been well covered, but I also really don't like that you can switch attachments on the fly. Part of what I enjoyed about Battlefield was having to figure out how to make the most of the tools you had at your disposal at any given moment. "Okay, I shouldn't go charging into this building for a close range firefight because I've got the ACOG and a heavy barrel on this gun. Let's play it smart and try to flush them out with a grenade or something". If you've got all the tools at your disposal, you're either forever in a menu, fiddling with it all the time, or you just stick with one setup, knowing you're going do be at a disadvantage.

I have no interest in the games it's taking its cues from, and I have no interest in buying skins, or characters, or whatever other nonsense is going to be in it.

I've never played it but I love the ship designs in Eve Online.

Despite being a big Mass Effect fan, I've never been a huge fan of the Normandy. Don't get me wrong, I love the inside of it, but from the outside it always looked more like some kind of civilian space airliner or something, instead of the badass stealth warship it supposedly is.

I am aware this is a controversial opinion, and will be handing in my N7 patch and throwing myself out of the nearest airlock forthwith.
