Alright, so I've never played Eve online or anything and I'm really interested in playing this game. For a complete newby to this game will it still be fun to me to play? I really would like to know how the beta is going so far.

I wish more MMO's would be put on console's more. There hasn't been a good one and I'm interested in seeing how Eve Online (Dust 514) does in the open beta. I can't try since I'm not a PS+ member. However if they made a medieval time game like Skyrim for example and just put it on console's I think they could make a lot of money and make a lot of people happy. Now don't get technical and such about my game time frame being compared to Skyrim. Imagine a Skyrim like world and then playing it with your friends and lots of other people. Given they made it a lot bigger and PvP more fun. I would pre-order that type of game in a heartbeat.

I totally forgot to watch this show. I wanted to see it after all of the commercials I've seen the passed couple of months. Glad to hear it's good though. Definitely going to check it out now

@UlquioKani: When I read this I immediately thought of Heavy Rain's developer, Quantic Dream. When I read a recent interview with one of the developers he had said that they were making major changes half way through the development process. I can't remember exactly what the changes were but it's a but of a risk to do this late. The developer was saying that it's probably a bad idea what they decided to do but they feel like being different and trying something completely different. Now it might just be a publicity ploy but I kind of got more excited for this game now and a bit more respect for that developer.

For those who haven't read my other blog about my new job, you probably should. It's nothing very long. But for those who have read it, this is an update about my new job with about a month of training underneath my belt. Since I have started training I have successfully been apart of dozens observations of people and their behaviors and what to look for. I have also been trained how to look around corners and not be seen while doing so. Another way I have observed shoplifters is through the shelves of all the merchandise rackings. Also, I have been apart of 4 apprehensions. Most of them concealed the merchandise on themselves another guy tried pushing the stuff out without anyone noticing. We stopped a lady yesterday from shoplifting, the sad part was that she had her 3 year old daughter with her while she was doing it. I am gaining a lot of confidence in myself and noticing that I am really happy to go to work. I still have a couple months left of training and then I will be certified and then handcuff certified. After all of that I will be making apprehensions on my own.

Anyone have any career related goals that they would like to achieve this year?

On a more positive note, I am a licensed scuba diver. I would highly suggest you give it a try. It's an amazing feeling breathing underwater at 60 feet or so. I don't know meters, sorry. Saw a lot of amazing things underwater. It was 20 degree water to and it felt like it was 60 in a wetsuit. Crazy stuff. Go for it.
