Some really great entries (and winners) already in their respective styles. So instead of competing directly I decided to go for a completely different take on these two... Working title; Games, games, games!

If you like fictional stories and fantastic universes I would agree with the dude who recommended A Game of Thrones, also A Hitchiker's guide to the galaxy is quite amazing (also avaliable as a movie and tv-series). You should also take a look at the eragon series (wich I didn't see mentioned).

You should probably read some reviews first, since I really haven't read that many fantasy books.

@Baillie: Just tried, but it only seems to work in web-browsers... In any other application I  get a "Not trusted server certificate" error.

With that said I think I might have stumbled over an alternative approach:
1. Log out of giantbomb
2. Go to the feed-url of your choice in a browser of your choice
3. Enter your credentials in the login box that pops-up (username all lowercase, as Ballie figured out)
4. You are now redirected to a slightly different url with a /?token=<random string> at the end, copy this adress (ignoring anything before www.)
5. Use this url in a podcast/rss-catcher of your choice

Please note that this "token-url" probably changes each time you log in to giantbomb, and might be deactivated serverside at random intervals (depends on GB settings), but so far I have been able to use it without any problems.

Edit2: Also note that the video-urls does work without beeing logged in so any kind of "protected rss" -> "open rss" converter will work. But might be hard to set up.

Edit3: Will check out you solution later today.

I get the same message when navigating to this address with a non-logged in browser window. The problem is that the normal login information does not seem to work. For me this results in the rss-feeds beeing more or less useless. Google reader does not detect the url as a proper feed, and my podcast catcher gets authentication and certification errors (even when using my normal login information).

It really is a shame... beeing able to watch GB on my mobile (offline) is something I am really looking forward to. (Downloading each episode manually doesn't count.) Here is a link to someone else having the same problem with your feeds http://www.doggcatcher.com/node/1229 (altough it is not the same podcatcher as the one I am using.)

Bah! Was just surfing around when I noticed the new quest poping up... nobody had finished yet when I eventually got stuck on "Bad Seeds".
A hint for eveybody else; do not spend too much time thinking about the armies, as most of them do not work :/
