I've been saying for a while now that it's really not fair to judge motion controls based on a single system, especially when that system can't support the kind of games that are playable on the other two. I say let's see how this all works out first.

You realize you are trolling. Get the fuck out of GiantBomb if you feel the need to do that. "
I love it when someone makes a post intended to instigate only to run away immediately after. I'm on the PS3 side of the fence and even I don't see the point of bragging which system is quieter. It's just stupid. Besides, I plan on getting a 360 in the future anyway.

Well, our room is cool because it's got AC. And the fan test is known to not be a good thing to do.

I'm going to take it apart and clean it out. I'm no stranger to screws, screwdrivers, cpu's, etc.

You provided a link to the actual thread. Is there some black block covering the name of the user who made it?

I'm not sure why it would be? "
Because it encourages flaming. It's using the forums to call out another member. Did you grow up around power lines?

" Did you try using an air duster? "

I wont. A duster simply blows it and the way the PS3 is set up on the inside, blowing from the outside would do no good.

Not that easy. The case is... but after that, you're getting into risky territory. I'll need some instructions. I'll search the net.

I'm going to pop in different games tonight. I'll try NHL 09 first. I'll keep it in for a half hour, take it out and shut the system down for 15 minutes. Then I'll switch to another game and do the same thing. I'll try 3-4 games and post some results.

It's been a year and a half since I bought my 80gb. In the past few nights, the fan appears to be working a little harder. Is this a matter of age? Is there cause for concern? I do keep it as clean as possible and well ventilated. However, Red Dead Redemption has had me in front of the TV three hours a night. Now, that much time on the system has been the norm since I bought it, so perhaps the game makes the system work harder?
