Undecided. I really want to play Breath of the Wild but what other games it offers and price will factor in, and if it somehow has backwards compatibility (wishful thinking on my part) would put me over the edge since there is a few Wii U games I still want to check out. I'm hoping this combination of console and handheld means we see a Fire Emblem on the console, that would probably make me go all in. Bonus points if it's possible to play Awakenings and the latest FE on it.

The fact that the GTA5 team is on it and boasts "foundation for a new online experience" gives me some pause. Other then just pure mucking around with friends, the way GTA Online was structured was a terribly boring grind and I ended up hating it in the end. All I want is a great single player campaign, unless the online turns out to be something truly special and not bogged down by boring bullshit like GTA Online was I can't find it within me to get excited about the online.

@captainkoonz: For what it's worth, I'm on Xbox One and it runs great. Other then a few bits of dialogue repeating (but it's nothing more then somebody saying one or two words twice and it doesn't mess up what is being said) and even then it's a pretty rare occurrence. The framerate has been very smooth and it looks nice. I haven't heard anything to be amiss with the PS4 version. I'd say check the Bioshock reddit or other places like that on the web for other impressions since I don't blame you being cautious.

@nodima: You know, you're right. I remember going after those hidden packages in GTA3 because of the weapons it would leave at your safe house. I made a point of it in new playthrough's cause it was always handy to have an assault rifle whenever I wanted and not paying for it. I honestly couldn't tell you much about IV's collectibles cause I hated getting those pigeons. I remember getting all the spaceship parts and letter scraps in V because exploring that environment was fun and in the case of the letter scraps had a cool story hook once you got them all.

@humanity: I keep buying Resident Evil 4, you have people like me to thank! It's like abstaining from harmful substances and you do a pretty good job of it, until every four or five years the Capcom van rolls around and asks "what are ya buying!?" and it's only a formality, because he knows. He knows what I'm there for.

That music video thing is strange, cool for fans of that band but I honestly just want to see what this Remake of 2 is going to look like. I just want the waiting to be over so I'll know if it's something I'll want or not.

Out of that list I would say Yakuza since other then playing about ten hours of the first one, I've totally missed out on that series. If it was brought to my platform of choice (Xbox One) I'd pick up a compilation of that series in a heart beat.

Pie in the sky stuff for me would be remasters of Final Fight (and make it Alpha Cody to rile up Jeff!), Skies of Arcadia, Dino Crisis, Winback, Way of the Samurai 1, E.O.E., Double Dragon, Oni etc.

Games (with the exception of Final Fight and Double Dragon I'd guess) that have their fans but may have been forgotten by the public at large and in most cases aren't available to play on many platforms unless you have the consoles they originally launched on.

I'd feel a decent place to start would to take a quality not quantity approach to side content. Give me side missions but I'll take five or six well designed mission types versus ten to fifthteen mediocre or bad ones. Making collectibles worth more then just achievement points/trophies would also be a good idea if you must have them. Maybe tie it into some type of mission that has an overarching narrative or it actually gives you something worth a damn, or even leads you to cool areas the designers made they want you to see and isn't simply behind some cruddy nondescript building.

While we're at it, for the love of god stop making me follow people by car/foot/plane/sweet hoverboard while staying behind just "enough" to avoid a suspicion/spook meter or whatever you call it.

@csl316: I mean I love Minerva's Den to pieces (and both Burial At Sea DLC's were pretty solid) but I'm not sure if spending sixty on a collection just to access them is the way to go unless you want those graphic upgrades. If you still have have PS+, playing that version and just buying Minvera's Den piece meal on PSN might be the best choice.

Either way, as long as you play Minerva's Den, do what you feel friend!

I was initially going to just wait on this collection but I've had an urge to revisit the first game for about three years now and this seems like a good excuse to do so. I also want to check out the developer commentary for the first game as well. Bioshock 2 and Infinite have it's various issues but I'm down for replaying those games again too. If nothing else I really love Rapture as a setting (Columbia was good too but it didn't compare) and seeing that again in spiffed up graphics is going to be a treat for me.

Pretty much just Alchestbreach and even then I'm not the most up to date on his stuff. I first got into him for his Fallout mod videos he does (I'm sure he's gone to Fallout 4 now) and some of his other more weirder stuff. As a general rule unless it's a game I'm absolutely never going to play I wait to just play the game myself instead of watching others play through the whole thing.
