In one of the early missions (the third one, maybe) your new employer wants to see how well you shoot your gun.

On the third trial he asks me to aim at the car, press the middle mouse button, and shoot the tired.

The middle mouse button does nothing. I have tried three different mice, and none of them make it work. (My middle mouse button works fine, just an act of desperation)

There is nowhere in the options to change this.

I like this game, it feels like it is worth the $3 and change I spent on it in Steam, but I can't get past this part.

Any ideas?

And at one point I run over the camera man. To which he says, "I bet they'll walk again someday." and it made be chuckle.

I am going for a 100% completion play through before The Third comes out. Would anyone like to do some co-op?

I spawned in an island world -to my delight- in the first 1.8 game. I promptly went out swimming in search of a cool island.

And... no trees... no animals... just islands with grass. I managed to find a mine shaft in the bottom of the ocean, got some wood and made a boat.

Searched for a while longer (until I reached x:906 y:-7034) and finally found an island I want to settle on. Along the way I found an island full of pigs, so that long with the bread from the mine shaft should keep me okay for a while.

The problem is, still no wool. After searching 50-75 islands, only ONE had trees or animals. And that was only pigs. I have saps, so I should do okay on wood. And I should be able to make bread, I think. But if I lose focus and get killed by something than I'll go back to spawn. And I'd hate that, so much so I am willing to cheat a little to get a bed. But how would I do that?

tl:dr? Need bed, no sheep, tell me how to cheat.

I don't keep close tabs on Minecraft news. Any word on what kind of things leveling will do for you?

@McShank: You do realize Minecraft and Terraria are nothing a like? Or are you just trolling?

@Louse: When was the last time you actually played? They've updated it pretty regularly and have added a bunch more stuff. Chests now need keys, bosses have been tweaked, a bunch more items (useful and decorative) keep getting added. Werewolves are being implemented. They're still constantly getting more interesting stuff.

There's even a hardcore mode where dying deletes your character. (Other difficulty settings too).

I've been playing each update as it comes out. While I have been very pleased with the updates, both in frequency and in content, they don't really add THAT much gameplay in terms of hour-age. Each update I go and do all the new stuff, netting me ~2-3 hours of play. There's only so many times you (well, I) can murder skeletron before it gets old. I only glanced at it, but I got the impression that the werewolf was just costume (forgot the correct term) items. If I am wrong, and it is a creature... again, nifty, but not really netting much new gameplay.

And I don't like the idea of hardcore, it just feels lame to me. I would want hardcore to just simply be much harder, not delete my character.

In agreement with your statement to McShank, I never understood people comparing Minecraft to Terraria. I have played both with enough hours to become bored of them. They are both great games, but as far as gameplay goes they have little to do with each other. It seems weird to me, as I have heard people go as far as to say Terraria is a "rip off" of Minecraft. I never saw Terraria and Minecraft as being anymore alike than Gradius and Grand Theft Auto. Sure they have a few vague concept that are the same, but on the level of gameplay there isn't a lot they share in common.

Play a different game.

If you can suggest a free (good) game that I have not yet become bored with, I'd thank you for the suggestion. Currently, I can not find anything.

Play mineCraft. The 3d version that was out before Terraria and has a shit ton more to do now since patch 1.8 just came out this mornng.

I am actually taking a break from Minecraft for a while. I looked at 1.8, but other than the larger biomes I see little that it has to offer. A server I used to play on is going to make a new 1.8 map, I may play then. But I'll likely wait for an update that introduces more content. The new biomes are cool, but they just don't allow for much more gameplay.

I hate that I am not loving this game like I was before.

Suggest something cool for me to build/do. Hopefully putting the spark back into the game for me! :D

The endings? Not sure, none of them stick out particularly from memory.

Openings would be the frist half of Death Note and Serial Experiments Lain.

I rarely "hate" any music, I find a lot of it mildly annoying, but I don't hate it.

I hate Beasty Boys. When I am sleeping with the radio on (For God's sake, why is a rock/indie station playing them anyway?!) and one of their abominations comes on it wakes me from a dead sleep. I doesn't just disturb my sleep, it cracks me out of it. I usually snap up, leap out of my covers, and make it across the room to turn off my radio before any of their horrible voices come out of the speakers. What annoys me more than just how damn terrible their music is, is that EVERY station seems to play them. They are not rock, alternative, and they are certainly not indie. I don't understand why stations that "only play the latest, hardest, rock around" would play them so often... or at all.

Ugh...
