Hey folks,

So I've been recently watching NoClip's excellent Hades: Developing Hell series and was reminded of a game that Gamespot covered the development of at some point many years back. Part of me thinks I imagined this but another part is fairly certain they covered this game's development. It was some sort of first person shooter and it may have been set on Mars. I've been thinking about this game for a long time now but couldn't find any solid information or what happened to it. These were the days when Jeff and team will still very much a part of Gamespot and despite some lengthy research I can't seem to find any info related to it. Honestly there's a part of me that thinks I imaged it all, but I have some vivid memories of the games development being covered by Gamespot.

Does anyone remember these videos or am I slowly just going insane?

I know Persona 4 as a special place in our hearts here on Giant Bomb, so I thought folks would like to know there's some strong indication that Persona 4 Golden could very well be coming to PC (via Steam) this very weekend (13th/14th June). Still not confirmed by there's a lot of strong evidence which Eurogamer detail in their article linked below. So what's your thoughts? Would you love to see P3Fes hit PC? Or even eventually PS5 Royale make it's way to the PC too.

I usually get physical when it comes to the Switch. But due to it being Animal Crossing it doesn't make much sense to go with a physical copy. Will probably pick it up from the Nintendo store unless I can get it a little cheaper. Depends.

Honestly get it digitally unless your unsure if Animal Crossing is for you. If your already a fan than digital is the only way to go, it saves you constantly swapping carts.

Just started Ori and the Will of the Wisp and I'm blown away how damn good that game looks. The visual and sound design as already taken my breath away. Still very early on in but easily one of the highlights this year already.

Listening to the bombcast I couldn't help but think it'd be call if they did a feature similar to Jeff/Dan's Mario Making with the community. Appreciate it would be more complex but it could be awesome. Hell why not get the community to make objects, sounds etc for a Giant Bomb level?

I just won a bet. I bet a mate that Sony wouldn't do E3 in 2020.

Not surprised, last year showed that Sony didn't need to do E3 and even with a new console coming they'll just do their own events. Don't get me wrong, I love the whole excitement and vibe around E3 but it's pretty clear these days that it's becoming less useful to the industry as a whole. Wouldn't be shocked if Microsoft decide to not do E3 one of these years.

So I decided to watch me some wrestling this weekend, haven't watched in a very long time and I must know, what the hell is up with the Fiend?

Seriously the whole thing comes across as lame, especially on a PPV (Survivor Series, which I haven't finished watching yet) where there was some real good wrestling. I know it's Bray's new character but it just felt out of place and dull to me, guess he's gotten over so it must be me. Had a blast watching NXT War Games, both War Game matches were great and the whole show was entertaining. As I said, still not finished with SS, good match between Shin, AJ and Strong.

I'm not sure about the whole Fiend thing however, haven't really seen much of him I admit, but it felt very lame. Great to see Bryan wrestling again.

Looks real nice. That said I checked out the price for Valve VR setup at £689, yeah there's no way I will be playing this anytime soon.

Sad news reported that the co-developer of Everquest, Brad McQuaid as passed away at just 51. Reported by the PantheonMMO twitter account.

Everquest was just before my time but many of the folks I played MMO's with started with Everquest and had a lot of respect for Brad McQuaid. I remember following Vanguard: Saga of Heroes was in development, and whilst that game never quite reached the high hopes many had for it, I have some fond memories. His mark on the genre and the industry is pretty huge, so it's a sad day for all.

There's been a lot of respectful replies from many in the industry on Twitter. Rest in Peace Brad and thanks.

Seems that way. Don't get me wrong, it's a game about pirates and pirates are sort of meant to be assholes but it wasn't a pleasant experience at all. I mean I expect a degree of this to happen but not before I can even set sail a simple small ship. It might go against the design of the game a little, but if players can't even get going before they get attacked, it seems fundamentally wrong.

Still, it's uninstalled now and I doubt I'll ever bother to return to it. Shame to, Sea of Thieves had such potential but was released clearly to soon and it still seems to be trying to recover. Hope those playing are having fun though.
