It's quite neat. You assemble your crew of adventurers and traverse a variety of themed maps from node to node, with each offering a story beat, a stat-check challenge, or an encounter. For me, the story is the best part, with some good humour and a decent thread to each map. Not 80-Days quality narrative, but fun. The stat challenges are a little dry and feel pretty random - you can see what type of challenge a node might hold, but since you can't swap out adventurers mid-campaign, it feels mostly out of your control. The combat is basic turn-based fare, with a mood system that I haven't found impacts things very much.
As for a QL, I think Vinny and Austin might find it fun. A lot of text, though, but the GBeast gang do a great job of spicing that up with their quippy narration :)
