This is my response to the Gamespot voter's event of the same name. I basically just picked my favorites.

I remember when my parents first bought Donkey Country for us back in the nineties. It was the coolest game I'd ever seen. From the very beginning I loved Diddy. He's faster and can jump farther than Donkey Kong, which was the playstyle I preferred. Plus it allowed him to find certain secrets easier and pull off certain tricks. Diddy rocks.

I didn't have a Sega Genesis back in the day when it was the thing. We just had the SNES and that was it. I loved the SNES, and Mario, DK and all the other classics, but it didn't have Sonic. Sonic wasn't entirely new to me, I had watched the cartoon series several times, and was excited to play Sonic when I discovered a friend of mine had a Genesis. I often played as tails, and we managed to beat Sonic 2, 3 and Sonic and Knuckles together. Tails is awesome, and he always helped out big-time on boss fights. Now that I have the Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for the 360 the fun can continue. :)

I've known about Luigi since he was a palate-swap of Mario. Yet somehow, he always felt cool and unique to me. I like the character a lot.
