Hey duders!

I recently accepted a new job and will be moving to Seattle for work from my home state of NJ. I was wondering if there are any one out there who lives in the Seattle metro area. Any advice would be awesome. and if there are Giant Bomb meet ups let me know!!

I ended up picking up Mortal Kombat X, it's fun and fast. But seems like i'm on a lucky streak right now. I received an amazon gift card and was able to pick up Bloodborne.

@dussck It wasn't that I found Demon's Souls difficult , it was just I didn't have time at that point to play it and I borrowed it from a friend. it seemed interesting though.

@zombie2011 its more the mystery of not know what items do. I usually don't get into fighting game moods but i've been playing MK since the begining and MK9 really just hooked me.

Yeah the other part is i'm sure there will be MKX Komplete.

Heyo duders. Ray is my name.

Any who, been visiting Giant Bomb since it was a blog, and following most of these guys since way back in their gamespot days. Started listening to the Bombcast when I got out of college at work so about 6 years now.

I've been playing games since I was 4, and it has got me to where I am today. Gaming community is one of the best things out there, and this site is very active. It's a great way to pass time if at home.

Besides being a Final Fantasy nut, I ordered this actually because I really wanted to play it. I had it pre-ordered before they announced the inclusion of the FFXV demo. Thing's I have read around the Japanese release for this all sounded positive and more or less the direction Final Fantasy needed to go.

@cubidog1 I had this same issue a year ago when my grandfather passed away. He was a barber and cut my hair my entire life.

I would just explain to them how you normally have your hair, if you have a picture of yourself with the hair you like show it to them. After they are done, ask them what they did to your head . Example being I have them use a number 4 on my sides, and scissor cut the top and front. I had no idea what to say before I went to a new barber a few times.

Trying to finish Majora's Mask 3D, finished Transistor, absolutely love Luftrausers. I know for March already I have Final Fantasy Type-0 coming.

This is the first time for myself as well. Ocarina of Time is one of my favorite games ever, and it's held that way since the day it was released. I never was able to play this when I was younger because I never had the expansion pak for the N64. To be honest, I'm not really enjoying it very much. It's a great game, but not a great Zelda in my mind. It's just very strange to me, Termina lacks the Fantasy built with Hyrule and the rest of the series. There are mechanics though I think are great such as the NPC schedules, the number of side quest, and the puzzles.

Understanding that this game is now 15 years old, there are thinks that irk me such as the predictability of the overworld, it feels lazy. The music being re-used in each area just different mixes of it. I know this game was built on a short dev cycle and also it was easier to get away with back then, but the amount reused from Ocarina of Time is kind of staggering. I'm judging this on the original game, not the remake.

As a remake, the game is fantastic it looks beautiful, just as Ocarina of Time did. I also picked up a New 3DS XL , and the C-Stick works great fantastic. Nintendo really has been spot on with ever game they've remade/ remastered. I really trust them when it comes to actually doing this with their key franchises. And it kind of stems back to Super Mario All-Stars.

@hollitz To me it's not so much that it breaks the Zelda mold in MM but it's just very weird. A Link Between Worlds, takes the same formula and makes a puzzle that can fit together any way , but still keeps the world together. In a way A Link Between Worlds takes a MegaMan (RockMan) -esque approach to the game. I really hope the new Zelda for Wii U takes the same approach . I think it will.

I'd say Magic The Gathering. I played about 10-12 years ago and just let it go and recently some co-workers brought it back up so we've split a few booster boxes. We play at lunch now at work. If you want to learn just how to play , pick up some pre-built semi-random decks either at a hobby shop or like target or even on Amazon. Get someone to play with you, it's way more fun when you have other people you can play with or compete with.
