  • Picked this up on the PC for $5 on Halloween and it was a stellar purchase! I got 9 hours of play out of that money between the regular game and it's expansion. It gets a little boring during Grubbins on Ice, but otherwise, it's really fun and has a great sense of humour. I laughed out loud more than once throughout the game. Buy this game.

  • This game was surprisingly good! I thought I'd had enough Halo and I really took a long time to come back to it, but really this was the best entry Bungie has made. What everyone said was great about this game was absolutely true. I genuinely liked the characters and it felt like they all had a purpose, but not the "Save the Universe" purpose like Master Chief. I only played on Normal because frankly, I'm not that good at Halo, nor do I enjoy dying and respawning a million times in large battles. I was still frustrated in certain parts but all in all, this was a really well done game. Noble Team > Master Chief

  • Great game. It took me a while to really get into it though. I remember when GoW 2 came out, I sat through it in only a few days because I couldn't put it down. I seemingly wasn't as excited for this one. But after it gets going it's a non-stop action packed thrill ride (yes, I did just say that). It's emotionally a lot heavier than the previous games, which really helps you to like the characters. Previously I enjoyed them in the "big dumb action guy" sense, but they're slightly more human in this one. All in all, great game, horde mode is great, beast mode is fun and 4 player co-op campaign is super fun.

  • This game was pretty fun. Some frustrations here and there. My least favourite thing about this game is the shooting, of which there is a LOT. But the story pulls you in and the characters are fun and interesting (except Elena, she's drab, boring, and the worst choice for love interest) However, as much as I don't care for the shooting, it's been VASTLY improved over the first. Here's to hoping Uncharted 3 is tweaked to perfection. The scenery in this game was great, the puzzles/exportation was really welcome. Not difficult, but definitely a good mix with the action. A very worthwhile play through.

  • After seeing The Legend of Zelda at PAX, and then seeing Patrick K tweet about Zelda II from the ambassador program for 3DS, I decided to grab a guide and make my way through this for the first time. And even today, this game is STILL exceptionally difficult! BUT I somehow succeeded! Hurray! :D Could I have done this alone? Absolutely not! :D

  • This game was pretty damn enjoyable. I played the PC version. The art style, story telling, voice work and game play were all very well done. It's a small game, and takes only about 6 hours to get through (or less), but you can increase the difficulty with idols, and go through the various weapon trials. New Game Plus adds for replay value. It reminds me of an old SNES adventure game, but obviously looks 100 times better. :) Of course, the price of all of this is 1 save game. Rather than loading and seeing a different ending, I just decided to play through again on New Game Plus. Definitely worth a purchase and a playthrough (or several)

  • A pretty good game, though I couldn't do more than a case or two at a time until the end. I liked the fact that it was more of an adventure game. Still, driving in a Rockstar game is terrible, and the action sequences are mediocre at best. The strength lies in the investigation (which can be improved on) and the interrogations. The banter between the characters throughout the game is great. The story is interesting, and the setting is well done. I did not like how things ended, but the ending was fitting. Turns out I did 0 street crime events too. hah That's what happens when driving sucks and isn't fun. :)

  • A very fitting end to what turned out to be a reasonably enjoyable romp in the Back to the Future Universe! I enjoyed this episode the most. It wraps up the season quite well, and was the most fun to play through. Other than a game ending bug near the beginning in the Glass House, this was a great episode. I'm happy they wrapped things up nicely and set things up such that should a second season be made, it can be independent of this first one. Hopefully they'll find a way to incorporate player controlled use of the Delorean, rather than it just happening for you.

  • All SP, no MP. I can't believe how much stuff there is to do! I gave up after collecting all the flags. I was somewhere around 85% total sync and 32 hrs of play. I didn't bother to finish all the side missions, and couldn't for the life of me find all the items needed for the shop quests. After finishing what turned out to be a great story/SP experience, I just didn't have the energy to bother with the rest. :) Fantastic game. So glad they stream lined the combat. Story and voice acting are still top notch.

  • Not a bad game at all. Without spoilers, I finished with 2 of 4 characters alive. This was light years better than Indigo Prophecy, which was an alright game until it got the super natural element. This game was a good interactive thriller, but I still felt that every character was very sterile. I didn't care one way or another about any of them. So there's room for improvement. But it was a game worth playing. I hope they build on it and keep making games like this.

  • Again, the 2 hr usual playthrough. Picking up immediately after Ep 3, it was more engaging and fun. I'm looking forward to the finish with the next episode!

  • Valve did it again! I ended up playing through the PS3 version while PSN is down. I really wanted to play this on PC, but in the end, I actually really enjoyed the console version. The voice acting and music are absolutely incredible in this game. The length was perfect too, which was about double that of the original. Once PSN gets fixed up, I'll probably wind up playing the PC version as well as doing some Co-op. Woot! So far, this has been the best game of 2011 for me.

  • SE - Adventure gaming for me continues! I had never played this when I was younger, so this was my first play through and oddly enough I enjoyed this more than the first. It was a lot longer/more difficult. The only thing I missed was insult sword fighting. The updated look and voice acting continues to be top notch and the added Developer commentary is great. Takes about 4 hrs.

  • 2 hours, and a bit underwhelming. I didn't enjoy this one as much as the previous two, since there seemed to be way more conversations that didn't really do much and less activities. However it did have a strong story finish, so I have high hopes that the next installment will be more exciting.

  • Most disappointing Metroid game ever. I remember the previews and being so excited when it was announced that this was a 2D/3D hybrid style of game. Well after finishing it in 10.5 hrs with approximately 51% items collected, I'm happy to say, I'll never play this again. It wasn't overly difficult, and only the final story mode boss was super lame/cheap. There are times when you have no indication of how to damage certain enemies. Exploration is NOT fun in this game. It's boring and feels half assed AND it's impossible to get 100% of the items until after the credits roll. Kudos for bonus mission after the credits, with by far the most interesting boss there. The story elements were alright, and interesting enough to stay engaged with what's going on. Terrible voice acting that humanizes Samus a wee bit too much for my liking. Having to use the d-pad instead of the nunchuk/analog control is frustrating. Pointing the remote at the screen was tolerable. An average game, but if you're a Metroid fan, I suggest skipping this one, because it ruins the character of Samus Aran and it's not a very interesting Metroid game.

  • PC - 7 hours. For the most part, this is a seemingly average game, but there's some form of charm to it that kept me playing until completion. Though I never felt the urge to find all the experience vials and treasures. I did enjoy the story telling and the characters (what little dialogue they had). I didn't care for playing this with a mouse and keyboard, but it wasn't so bad after I got used to it. Worth the $5 I picked it up for, and good for a play through.

  • PS3 - Wow this was a good game! I have a few gripes though. It's heavily combat based, and the combat can feel very inconsistent. Gabriel doesn't feel like he becomes more of a bad ass as you progress, so there's lots of combat memorization needed, along with TONS of dodging and blocking. All three of these things ... I am NOT good at, so completing the game on the Normal difficult was quite challenging for me. There are some platforming hitches as well. But all in all, it's a fun game with a good story, and I look forward to more. Gabriel is a great protagonist, and a worthy Belmont for this reboot! I have no idea how long this game took. It seemed like forever. :)

  • About 2 hours. March will not come soon enough, and it's only a couple weeks away! :)

  • Takes about 2-3 hours and it's a wee bit too easy but it totally has the Back to the Future charm! I'm hooked! I got this episode free from TellTale, and after that I ended up buying all five. I'm starting to dislike episodic releases because I want more now damnit! :)

  • That's right, I finally completed all the story levels in the original Little Big Planet. I absolutely HATED playing this game by myself. It is 1,000,000 times more fun with at least one other person. Currently, I am perfectly happy, never playing LBP ever again, unless it's with friends. Ugh. That was a horrifically frustrating experience. I hate floaty jumps and sliding on all terrains ... Glad this one is done.

  • First game finished in 2011 and I gotta say, it wasn't as interesting or as fun as I'd hoped. Yes, it has charm and is a point/click adventure game which is reasonably fun, but after so long it felt a bit boring, so I just used a guide to finish it. The art style is interesting. The story is relayed through actions that happen and in little speech bubbles that convey pictures of what's going on, which was kinda cool, but at the end of the game I didn't really feel any sympathy for the character that they were trying to convey through the story. Some of the puzzles are quite challenging with little to no hints/warning, but I guess that's just a throwback to the old school adventure game. This is by no means a bad game, I just didn't find it overly interesting.
