I bought the app and they got a bit annoyed that other people pirated their app. Well guess what, quite a lot of things get pirated now, you can't just burn your honest customers because of the pirates. Whiskey Media and GB's ethos to this problem is similar to the absolute awful levels of DRM, in that they made a decision to stop supporting this app, and the honest customers get effected more than the pirates. Giantbomb have said on many podcasts how annoying a lack of support for games can be or how awful DRM is, yet apply similar methods to this app.
I will be suprised if this app is being fixed. Especially now that they offer paid members a mobile site anyway.
Isn't the November release date a little too close to COD: Black Ops? I really hope this game sells well, but we all know how a large release can take away sales from other games in the same release zone.
Personally, I prefer having it at the top, as I don't have the most powerful PC to browse Giantbomb, and having the fancy overlay at the bottom was cool, but killed my page load times.
It's now much quicker at loading the site with the box at the top, so thankyou GB/Wiskey Media crew. :)
I accidentally created two image galleries for Metro 2033 when trying to upload some high-res screenshots, and now the gallery I was trying to delete 'can not be found'.
If anyone can delete an image gallery, could you go here, and the gallery that is empty should just be marked (0) at the top of the 'filter by gallery' box.
