Yes. I would and I have been premium since I think ‘13.

But listen to how Vinny talked about this on the bombcast. This is not about that.

I’m distraught as fuck. But we have to respect their decision. We’re not entitled to their work here. Wish them well and let them go.

I’ll just go back and watch some old stuff with Austin and vinny and Alex.

But yeah. Fuck, I’m sad.

Always down to express some Austin love. Don’t think he’ll come back into games Media full time. But I would loooove to have him on as a guest here more often.

If you’re jonesing for some more of his podcast work. Besides Waypoint Radio and friends at the table, he guests on three moves ahead too, which is a rad strategy game podcast.

Maybe GB could hire him for a feature? Maybe when KSP2 comes out? One can dream.

#3  Edited By mario_actually83

I played Botanicula with my son, while he was between 1 and 2 years old. We played every couple of weeks for half an hour or so and we both really enjoyed it.

I didn't know Samorost was coming out, so when it popped up on steam, I immediately bought it and sat down the next day with my son, to give it a go. He really loves rockets now, so the first riddles he really liked. I find these games so perfect to play with kids, since they are so full of fantasy and imagination.

This is so spot on. So many great arguments. Pretty much sums up my thoughts and then adds a lot more to them.

Awesome having your voice here on GB man, really awesome!

@tonch: The difference being, that this time gamers actually were fucking terrible. And yeah there was some backlash against GG, that was also really terrible, but it came so, because people were getting attacked friggin hard for weeks. And they still fucking are.

@neon25: Dude, the difference is, that GG started as a hate movement. Islam is a religion, that is hundreds of years old and just over the last decades and under immense political pressure has brought forth the jihad. I think it's very telling of GG overinflated self-perception, to make that comparison.

Ethics in journalism is valid (although completely blown out of proportion) topic to discuss, but GG is a terrible forum for this.

Just a big thanks.

You found really good words. I hope they reach some of the folks who got roped up into this.

This actually means a lot to me. I'm listening to you guys every week, for I think more than 5 years now, watched hundreds of hours of your videos. Was premium for a time, but cant afford it right now. What I'm saying is, you guys in a weird way mean a lot to me and hearing you speak out really helps.

Also props to Alex and Patrick who did so a bit earlier even. I saw my emotions mirrored in Alex' helpless rage/sadness.

big hugs from germany.
