The best thing about December for gaming?

My favorite thing about December when it comes to gaming is it's complete lack of releases, which gives me time to buy any game I couldn't from October or November, such as Dragon Age or Forza, and not really miss anything. I know there are a couple games coming out in December this year, but there not on my radar.
So what  is your favorite thing about December for us gamer's or any other month or season.

completely agree. The only december release i'm remotely interested in is the Saboteur, but since it's a new IP and little gameplay has come out yet, i'm waiting for reviews.

Also you got a lot of time off so if you got a backlog (like me) its the best time to get some games finished but then it grows again when you get your Christmas presents :P

yeah the Saboteur does look pretty cool but instead of waiting for reviews i could easily see it getting a price drop by January.

@shadows_kill: Yeah, I convinced my parents to give me my games at the start of winter break (usually the week including christmas, so it varies per year), so i'd have 2 weeks to try to beat them before finals (we have ours after break, which really sucks)

Also, I think the Saboteur price drop depends on how well it sells. If it's a sleeper/semi-sleeper, like Borderlands was, then I don't think there will be a price drop, unless it's a temporary one as part of an after christmas/new year sale.

I'm liking this December too, it will give me time to play some games from November and October that I haven't played yet. Of course that would probably just be MW2, not planning on L4D2 or Assassin's Creed 2 until next year.

The different thing here in Taiwan is that we don't have a Christmas break. Instead, we have a three week long winter break starting mid January for Chinese New Year (start of February)! Our summer break is shorter though :(

Lack of releases and an abundance of time is what I like about December.
