Remington MB-320C. Quite good for five o'clock look and you can go longer if you want to. Also have a high-precision end if you're into playing with your soul patch and stuff. Plus, I use it to shave my head :-) It was about £25 and I'd buy it again.
I can see why they made it that way but I think I would've preferred to have some kind of intro to wtf is unhollowing, kindling etc. I believe they could've done a bit better job explaining the game and doing that in an intelligent way (i.e. no handholding and/or "press X to complete the objective" tutorials).
I get that by not providing you the info DS basically expects me to figure it out on my own but I would've preferred to get some hints. I'm not talking here about pointing me in the right direction like Uncharted does. There're ways of explaining what's going on to the player without holding his hands, locking all "wrong" exits and using damn, red arrows to say "hey, here!".
What I love about DS is that you really need to be focused every time you meet an enemy. I love when sometimes I can circle a room facing a dude and we're both waiting for the right moment to attack. I adore the fact that you can be killed so easily so you need to pay attention all the time.
I used to love Tony Hawk series but always wanted it to more focused on basic stuff, for example doing a kickflip or a simple grind being damn difficult. Dark Souls does something like that to action-adventure genre and that's fantastic. Hope other developers will figure out how to marry such concept with a more accessible game world. I'm not a huge fan of feeling lost most of the time :-)
I preferred Batman: AA to AC. Loved Dead Space 1&2, 1 was IMO better. God of War 3 is a must buy for every PS3 owner. If you haven't played Ico/Shadow of the Colossus then get it on PSN. Try Flower on PSN. Castle Crashers (PSN) is a great party/co-op game :D Resistance 3 is great, don't bother with 1 and 2. Modern Warfare 1-3 has a great roller coaster single player and 1&2 are pretty cheap now. Little Big Planet is fantastic if you have a boy/girlfriend/brother/sister to play with. Works best with boy/girlfriends, though. LA Noire is kinda unique and looks great. Red Dead Redemption is awesome, same goes for GTA IV + "DLC". Additionally, Try Dark Souls if you want to have your patience tested :-)
Patrick: CD Projekt RED Sp. z o.o. means CD Projekt LTD (Sp. z o.o. -> LTD) which isn't true anymore because they're now a public company -> CD Projekt RED S.A. (http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/quote?ticker=CDR:PW).
Yeah, I wouldn't recommend trying iRacing on a joypad. It would be like playing Counter-Strike with a pad and being frustrated that you get killed all the time :-)
I get your point, I'd love to get 3 monitors but don't have enough space on/around my desk ;/
I wouldn't compare iRacing to GT or Forza. iRacing is more about picking a car, learning how to set it up, perfecting your line and then realising that you're still 2 seconds off the pace than just racing dudes on the internet. Took me about 6 months to be competitive in the Skip Barber (on of the easiest cars there) but once you get there it's a lot of fun.
I used to race karts and with iRacing it felt like I'm racing again. The sim still isn't perfect but they're slowly getting there. Most importantly it captures emotions and decisions involved in real racing: balancing your tire load, outbreaking opponents, picking the better line when close to other car etc. Plus, when I'm 0.3 sec ahead of another driver and still have about 5 laps to go then I my heart is racing and my hands are wet! ;-)
