I'm sure that with the Bombcast, Beastcast, Hot Spot and whatever else you might follow, another videogame podcast probably is the last thing anyone is looking for.

Oh boy.... this was exactly what I was looking for now! I like the energy and random banter. Haven't been far into the second episode, but have a 3h drive coming up this week so this will be perfect

In an article on The Verge, Sony was quoted to just not have enough to announce next year. Simple as that.

Maybe PS5 in the works

I have never seen a website redesign that people were happy with.

I think the new design goes into the right direction, and this being a website it should be easy to improve and iterate on the basic design principles, who I quite like.

No, because e-sports is way too broad of a term!

You don't do "running" at olympics, you do 100m, 400m, 1000m etc.
It's gotta be way more specific to become an olympic sport, also you need a worldwide governing body.

I don't think they fit to the olympics, and honestly... why would we need it there?

@saturdaynightspecials: Yeah. The E3 stuff from GB works for me for mainly this reason (though it's not a recording studio). Again, the regular podcasts also come out as well. The only one I don't listen to anymore is the final E3 podcast with the Dave Lang, John Vignocchi craziness extravaganza. I used to be really into those but don't care for them anymore. Still cool that they do it, it's a nice way for the GB crew to hang out and cut loose.

As far as I understood this year was the last of those sessions.

Back to topic:

I am also not a fan of these panels. They are probably fun when you're there, but I do not have that option and wouldn't want it. But they also make such a tiny portion of the whole GB content, that I don't care about it. Also the crowd and the crew always seem to have a blast, so go for it.

Once again, imagine this was a car with no solution for plugging your iPhone in

I don't have an iPhone, and I don't play online... so no

I'm actually kind of surprised at how much handheld there is. For me, the handheld is a nice perk for certain games like Stardew Valley, Shovel Knight etc. But for big marquee games (which I feel I have spent most of time playing on the Switch), I like having it docked. Big screen with surround sound is the way I'd rather play those games, otherwise I (and this is just a personal thing) I feel like I'm robbing myself of the experience or something.

But I've also never been a huge handheld gamer so to each their own. At any rate, I love the Switch and love the ability to take it on the go if I want to.

I exclusively play handheld, but the reason is also that I don't own a TV at the moment and my switch sees most use on frequent business travels. But even with a TV, I think I would play it handheld most of the time

My Dock is still in the box, I only play in handheld mode. So far it works perfectly (Mario Odyssey, Zelda, Golf Story...)

Don't see any reason why not every game should be playable undocked. I could imagine the other way around, due to the touchscreen, but haven't seen anything that utilizes that except for scrolling through the Nintendo news...

I'm curious, but it also looks like a phone game that got ported to the Switch, including a whole lot of repetitive grinding. (They even said in the podcast, there's not too much that changes things up)

I'll wait till it's on sale and there are some reviews, opinions out there

I only own a Nintendo Switch at this point, and use it for playing on Business Trips or some evenings (I guess what you call a casual...). I only buy digital games in order to not accidentally forget the games at home when I'm travelling.

But I also usually wait for 2-3 months until I buy a game, to save money and wait until the worst bugs are squashed.
