Is this a 6 hour quick look?
@aerobie: well to be fair they say coffee shop but they are talking about the hookah bar and my first run I didn't make that connection. I spent a long time trying to figure out where the courier was. He's gone into the school at that point. My second run I went undercover at the hookah bar and it makes it way easier to complete the objectives.
@zombieclem: alongside you, I thought sticker star wasn't that bad. I am surprised people had issues with the "limited resources" aspect of the game. The stickers were actually something that I thought was interesting spin on the combat. Usually in RPGs I stick to the handful of things I find purely useful and everything else is just cruft. The fact that I was forced to try new things made for some creative battles.
The whole needing a specific sticker to fight certain bosses gave the game more of an "adventure game" sorta feel to it. I'd almost rather refer to Sticker Star as an adventure game with light RPG elements. I actually found it a very refreshing change from the original formula. And M&L sorta carried the torch past those first couple games, so it makes sense that they might want to switch it up a bit.
True, this is all a large deviation from the original games which I really really liked. Did I like Sticker Star as much? Not really, but I definitely found it compelling enough to finish which is more than I can say for most RPG styled games.
What's the problem with updating phones? Just update. There has never been an iOS release that changes so much that it's difficult to use. In fact they usually don't change a whole lot beyond the visuals.
If this is supposed to be so realistic you'd be able to ask Tom for 200,000¥. I see you selling those spicy dogs bro.
Can anyone tell me about how far they are through this game? I only ever played two so I'm not sure.
Will there be more back seat gaming in the comments this episode? Tune in to find out!
@planetfunksquad: okay, I was really curious if that was true and was trying to verify with some googling. I couldn't really find any info but I was searching shenmue failing docks.
In case y'all haven't seen this, here's a story about Shenmue's development from a who did localization.
And people gave Suzuki money to make another one...
This video solidifies the theory that explaining things in terms of wrestling is the way to get Dan to understand.
