So I’ve played some more and like @Hylian100 said it’s pretty difficult. They come up with a lot of interesting challenges that I’m enjoying. It’s got a weird story that I’m also appreciating. If you’re looking for a more challenging single player I’d recommend this. Definitely a lot more interesting than the shipped single player.

I kinda thought I might be the only one who didn't really like this game haha. I'm powering through it but yeah I just... can't... quite put my finger on what I don't like about it. I think the controls are kinda flimsy at times, but then other times they seem intentional in a way that makes it feel very tuned. I think a lot of the levels I just find very boring. Especially in comparison to the original DKC I was playing on the SNES classic not too long ago. The levels there just seem a lot more varied. I was also sort of scratching my head at the lack of any other animals besides the rhino.

Truth be told, while I've played most of the other Country games at one point or another, the one I spent the most time with was the original so I don't know how drastically the series has progressed past that first game.

Never even heard of this game. Co-op brawler sounds fun though.

If I can change 1/3 into the game like I am now I'll probably boost it up.

Safari on iOS as well, and assuming Safari in general? I imagine this is just a general redirecting issue that plagues any browser.

Comments sections are begging for sizzling hot takes or poorly thought out jokes. To be honest I'm curious how often people go to respond to quotes or replys, seems like people usually fire and forget in comments sections.

@peteycoco: I’m curious what you mean by “it doesn’t matter who you start with”. Interested in what you thought was gonna happen.

I thought it would be sort of like you complete a section and then change to a new character like in suikoden 3 or SaGa Frontiers (at least 2). The fact that they seem to join up with each other seems a tad bizarre to me but I’m curious to see how it plays out.

Unless something really grips me I usually can't spend more than 2 hours playing a game, unless it's some multiplayer game that I've set aside time to play. For some reason my mind just processes the playtime as a long duration then when I look at the elapsed time from steam it's only been like 90 mins.

Is it just me or does this game seem like a reboot of the SaGa series?

By the way if anyone is like me and was really put off by the dark corners when you play you can turn this off. Personally I think it makes the game look much better. The colors are much brighter that way.
