Damn you steam sales! I don’t even know how I got this game! It was probably part of a bundle but it’s weird that I can own a game and not even realize it. I saw Lugaru HD on my steam games list recently and was met with a screenshot of a rabbit stabbing another rabbit with a sword. Needless to say I was intrigued and after many days of nothing I decided to give it a go. Watch video now:
 

This game is fucking weird and not good. The whole rabbit thing just freaks me out even more. Rabbits are happy little critters that hop about and eat carrots having a joyful time. Rabbit families being murdered and stabbing other rabbits is not cool! Fuck this game!

Yeah, this shit freaked me out pretty bad when I got it in the Humble Indie Bundle. However it looks like it's making some decent progress - RPS did an article about it recently and it looks much better.

Apparently, living on an island filled with spiders, crocodiles and terror can turn even the Easter Bunny into Freddy Krueger. But those rabbits were more "evil genius" than the disturbing, lurking sociopaths that have made up the rest of this list so far. In Linz, Australia, however, a hare, presumably after watching too much Monty Python, decided to attack an elderly woman while she hung her laundry.

The little bastard made hit-and-run attacks at the woman's ankle, causing her to fall. When her husband came to see why she was screaming, he was attacked as well. He fought off the crazed rabbit with a stick, and police later reported that when they arrived, the hare was winning. Even in the face of an armed cavalry, the bunny did not relent in its attack, and in order to stop the furry insanity, they had to shoot it.

Yeah this game is weird, I kinda liked the fighting at first but it gets too fast and frustrating later on, you're supposed to perform all this crazy stunts that you can barely pull of,  and being able to do counters all the time  is a must because the AI enemies will ALWAYS counter your attacks no matter what.

They're making a sequel of sorts that is looking kinda neat, I still don't know if I'll get it though, if it ever gets released that is.

I think Lugaru was installed on my PC for a grand total of 10 minutes before I decided to delete it and try to forget it exists. Difficult controls and furries do not make for a world that I want to spend any time in.
