Pretty rad. I especially love the Dead Space one. The logo is fantastic, although like mentioned, Isaac looks too much like a filtered screenshot. In my opinion, it's totally okay to use a solid color in places like that. If it looks a little out of place, try giving it a texture. Just make sure the texture is high-quality, and make sure not to expand it. For example, the overlay texture you used in the Dirt 3 one looks like it was a bit stretched. To be fair though, good high-res textures are super hard to come by. I'd recommend http://www.cgtextures.com/ and http://www.sxc.hu/ if you need some good, (mostly) royalty-free textures.

I think the one that could use the most improvement is the Vice City one. I totally see what you're going for, but you should use less colors. Maybe it's because the color depth is too low? Some textures wouldn't hurt either, although I'd be careful not to make it look too "grungy".

It looks like you really enjoy taking images and simplifying/vectorizing them, which is cool, but to be honest, the current results don't look terrific. If you have Illustrator, you should try out the "live trace" feature, it's pretty fantastic.

Another thing: be sure to check your edges. For this kind of thing, the more anti-aliasing the better. For example, the edges in the top-left tree in the Vice City image are too sharp. Just my two cents anyway. Hope this helps.

I hear the Xbox 360 version is totally fine. If you're concerned about using a controller, don't be - it works great. I actually prefer to use a controller and I'm on the PC version. It's not a game about the graphics or anything, so it's perfectly fine on whichever platform you prefer.

I used to do that constantly. Not because the game was necessarily bad, but because something new and fresh would come up and I'd drop my current game for that one. It's a bad habit, so lately I've been making an effort to finish every game that isn't actively bad. It's been going well, I feel like my game experiences are much more potent this way.

If I'm just not having fun with a game, though, I don't have any problem with putting it down. And I think that's completely fine - if a game isn't expensive, I think it's worth giving it a try even if it looks only somewhat interesting.

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth and the Penumbra games, for sure.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is fantastic but very infrequently scary. In any of the games, you'd need to play for several hours before you encounter anything really frightening. Plus, it's really difficult to get into, so it's not something you can just pick up and play for a video.

Cry of Fear might be worth looking into. It's not a very good game at all, but it's pretty scary.

Pathologic is absolutely terrifying, but in a really odd and unorthodox way. It's just kind of weird and unsettling - nothing makes sense and everything feels foreign. Definitely worth checking out, but don't expect jump scares or anything.

That's about all I can think of. There's a ton of console games I haven't played but would love to see, like Fatal Frame and maybe some of the older Resident Evil and Silent Hill games.

This is the problem I've been having:

No Caption Provided

Whenever I scroll up or down, the ground textures turn into black. For some reason, there's no problems when I scroll left or right. I've tried compatibility mode, and messing around with some resolution stuff. I have a theory that putting it in windowed mode would fix it, but I haven't found a way to do it yet. I'm running 64bit Windows 7 on SLI Nvidia cards.
