I’m surprised no one pointed out the great character actor who plays the detective. His name is Lee J. Cobb and he was in some Elia Kazan movies, playing Johnny Friendly in the Seminal 1954 movie “On The Waterfront,” Juror #6 in “12 Angry Men,” and “The Exorcist” was one of his last movies because he died in the mid ‘70s.
Finally, Lance Henriksen was in a couple Sydney Lumet films early in his career including Dog Day Afternoon and The Network. He played the driver in Dog Day Afternoon.
My father who was a big hippie and at the original Woodstock during the summer of love has the same birthday as Jason Miller (RIP gone way too soon) who played Father Karras, but instead of April 22,1939 my father was born 9 years later on April 22, 1948. I think Jack Nicholson has the same birthday too, but in 1937.

Linda Blair was excellent in The Exorcist. She deservedly won Best Supporting Actress at the Golden Globes. But the idiot bigots at the academy awards stiffed her because she “didn’t do the devil voices.” Like, No shit. How could a 12 year old girl do those demonic voices. Of course, they made a really big deal out of it and, subsequently, it really damaged Linda Blair’s confidence and self-esteem long term. Bastards. It wasn’t right I tell you.
P.S. Dan, If you are 35 now, there is no way you can be a doctor by 42. 4 years pre-med, 4 years medical school, 1 year internship, 4 years residency, and 2 years fellowship. You will be at least 49 by the time you are a board certified practicing full doctor, and that’s if every thing goes smoothly.

The Rocky movies I like are 1, 3, and 5 as well as the new ones. 4 is redundant, silly, and honestly Stallone was too old to realistically represent the USA as a boxer in the Olympics. 5 at least tried something new and focused more on other characters such as Talia Shire. Also, I agree with Abby Fight Club is dumb and HD vibrating controllers make me cum too.
I’ve seen Gremlins 1 a few times. I’ve never seen Gremlins 2: The New Batch, but I’ve seen parts of it. I thought I saw Hulk Hogan in it, but I’m sure I was just seeing things. I mean why would Hulk Hogan be in Gremlins 2?
