Was not the longest but by far the most fun. Wished both co-op and single player just kept going.

Unlike Portal 2 the multiplayer is endless in Battlefield 3. After only playing an hour or so of single player I really did not care that it was even included. The multiplayer was well worth the price of admission.

With amazing gameplay, an incredible narrative and the only game soundtrack I downloaded this year Bastion was the complete package! The only reason it was not higher on my list was the lack of co-op. I am not saying that it needed it, I just would have played it longer if it had it.

If I had done a Best of 2009 then Uncharted 2 would have been #1. Asking this game to top the second installment was an impossible task. But Uncharted 3 did the best it could with the same formula.

Not playing Demon Souls I assumed I was going to be crushed by this game. Instead of being frustrated I was amazed at how well it play and how much fun it was learning from mistakes. Especially after all the shit these game gets.

Terraria is a 2D Minecraft but it added almost everything Minecraft missed. Cool bosses, tons of loot, and gameplay that was not just jumping up blocks.

This year I found myself playing a lot more mobile games. Probably because I got an iPhone and it never leaves my side. Jetpack joyride is my go to game when I am bored and it always makes me happy/deliriously angry.

Rayman is so beautiful I could puke. Forget that the gameplay is great and the levels are challenging. The HD visuals remind me how much Nintendo has dropped the ball this gen by not doing HD.

L.A. Noire was a fun look at technology and how games could be in the future. The game got pretty repetitive and had its share or flaws but those faces...

inFamous 2 suffers from the same problems as Uncharted 3. Unlike Uncharted franchise inFamous did not get the hands down amazing second act. Here's hoping for inFamous 3.
