I guess I have three reasons, for the amount of time I spend on this site and with the podcast each week, it's chump change. But also, I love being able to download the videos to watch later (my internet can be spotty sometimes, so streaming can get annoying), and of course the premium videos are fun!

For me, my contender's are Journey, Walking Dead, Crusader Kings II, Sleeping Dogs, and XCOM. And out of those I'd probably give it to Sleeping Dogs, because that was the most obsessed I was over a game this year. I haven't played enough of Asura's Wrath to judge it yet, and I only just started Mark of the Ninja and I'll get to Dishonored eventually too.

For the Bomb Crew? Definitely XCOM is a front runner, Walking Dead, Journey, Dishonored (maybe), Sleeping Dogs (I think VInny will stick up for it), definitely Asura's Wrath, and Mark of the Ninja. That's only 7, so for three more, Darksiders 2, Borderlands 2, Torchlight 2, maybe P4:A instead of one of those. Definitely not going to ME3, or Diablo 3. I bet the big debate will be between XCOM, Walking Dead, Sleeping Dogs and Mark of the Ninja.

Length is definitely a consideration, but I don't agree with, "I payed 60 dollars, so this game has to last X hours." That doesn't make any sense for me. Spec Ops is a decent example, it wasn't worth the $60 price tag because the gameplay was extremely bland, but the narrative was great, and it didn't over stay it's welcome. If a game has a story (which isn't necessary) I want the single player to last as long as the narrative needs to be, I don't want it to be longer just to increase the "value", because what that ends up doing is actually take away from the value. Skyward Sword was a great game, but it lasted forever because it padded out it's story. That's not value, because at some point it just isn't fun anymore, and I definitely won't pick it up again.

Even after watching the videos and reading up on the Ouya for quite a bit, I still need help and further clarification on what it really does. What type of games will I get to play on the Ouya? Will it be able to compete with the current generation of consoles or does it aim to compete with the next? I understand that the console is supposed to evolve and grow based on the users but what can one generally expect from buying an Ouya console? All I've seen so far is support from Twitch TV and the Minecraft devs, which are all multiplatform. What's unique to the Ouya?

It's not competing with the current or future consoles. It'll play downloadable, free (at first, monetized later) games. It wants to bring the good parts of android to your living room. It seems to mostly be competing with PSN and XBLA, not full service consoles.
