Ubisoft. Chris Watters and Andy Bauman went there, right? I bet Danny follows. He just got married. Needs a steady higher paying gig to support babies and stuff.

I don't know why Gamespot would care though. I switched jobs 4 times in my career and no company every cared if I said where I was going next.

My suspicion is that Danny is going wherever the other recent Gamespot peeps jumped ship to. (I cannot recall where that was.) One of them was a higher up so he probably gave Danny an offer he couldn't refuse to come over to his new gig. I had that happen twice to me before. A higher up goes to a new place and remembers you were a good worker and then offers you a job at the new place. In the tech industry (that I am in) they get a reward for a referral if you go over. I know for a fact someone got $15000 once for referring me. I asked the company CFO what he got.

I play a little Hitman every few days. I do an escalation or a contract as I have finished all the main material released so far. Almost endless content there. Really get a rush of adrenaline when I near the end of a perfectly executed run of a complicated multi-step mission (with no save backing me up).

I just finished Human Revolution two days ago. Really liked it the story and characters and multiple ways of doing things, but I thought the controls could be a lot better. Going from the slick Hitman controls to the clunky Deus Ex controls was tough. Do they may you hold a key to stay in cover in the new one?

I then started Trails of Cold Steel as it was on sale on PSN last week and before Human Revolution I had finished Trails in the Sky and really liked that. Can't say anything about Cold Steel yet other than that it is anime as fuck. And for me that is a good thing. If you are any kind of fan of old-school Japanese turn based RPGs like Xenosaga, definitely play Trails in the Sky. It starts really slow and is dialog intensive, but both the story and combat systems are very good.

Besides the material being dull, there were technical problems. The extra voices in the audio has already been mentioned. With the video, someone couldn't be bothered to switch the feed from the small window to full screen when they weren't showing anything in the big window. And then there were band members moving about, talking, and mainly just being awkwardly in every shot of the panel. It was a failure on all levels. Just learn from it and move on.

According to Sean Murray there is fun to be found in No Man's Sky, but No Man's Sky is so large that your chance of finding it is almost 0.

The whole point of VR and gaming for that matter is to do things you couldn't or wouldn't do in real life. I guess I am just weird because I don't take offense at anything anyone is doing unless their actions are actually harming another person.

The puzzles in this game amount to: if you find a lever switch it, if you find a button, push it, if you find a wheel, rotate it, if you find a number, remember it so that if you find a keypad you have a number to enter into it. Besides that there is some doing these things in the correct order and remembering where teleports take you. This game is nothing like The Witness. Puzzles in The Witness are way better. Story in Obduction is way better.

If you want some free time to play warcraft the best ways are to quit your job and dump your girlfriend.
