@EvilDingo: I'm having what appears to be the same problem with my Wii. I took my Wii to a party last week to play Guitar Hero. I got everything setup, but when it came time to play GH I ran into all kinds of problems. It appeared that there was a lag when I tried to strum the notes. I thought there was something wrong so I tried changing the sensor bar position, the sensitivity and the location of the actual Wii and nothing seemed to work. Brought the Wii home, connected it back to my TV (older CRT TV) and everything was perfect.

Today, bought my own plasma TV (50" Samsung) and my problems have returned. I have my sensor bar below the TV. It's sitting on the base of the TV a couple inches closer to me that the actual TV. Anything thoughts about whether or not the sensor bar position could be an issue?
