Navarro's self-righteous anger at Palmer Luckey was funnier than the entirety of the Game of the Year videos last year. He was almost "literally shaking". Stay in your bubbles and keep calling people you disagree with politically names., it's really winning people over.
Maybe I'm expecting too much, but it would be nice if they were a little more prepared when they do these instead of making false statements because they haven't actually played the game enough or weren't paying attention. It happens a lot now. If they just want to throw a video up to get traffic, don't pretend the opinions are informed.
A game received the day before release was reviewed in 8 days. A game received more than a day before release was reviewed in 10 days. The "not respecting our audience" argument seems like whining that perks are being taken away from outlets that have declining influence and covering it with a pseudo-principled stance.
Jeff's evolution into an internet forum troll over Fallout 4 is hilarious. He bullied everyone into including a game he gave 4 stars to as one of the 3 most disappointing games of the year. It's pretty amazing.
Edit: Their scolding of Quiet was expected but still very cringe & eye roll inducing. Glad the new media puritans are being pushed back against.
@xdeser2: If you find bad YouTube style videos entertaining, more power to you. These videos are usually funny every year and an effort worth appreciating. This year was a bad concept, executed poorly. If that's the bar they were shooting for, congrats to them for reaching it I guess.
Drew is the only one that has been entertaining so far. He actually succeeded in being a parody. Vinny's screen pop ups get an honorable mention. Everything else in these videos has been mailed in. I have faith Dan will bring it.
