Can someone clarify a mechanic for me? It looks like after a trap was destroyed by each other it left a grey zone underneath that when hovered over could be sold. Would doing that allow them to rebuild on the same area and/or get a unit back? Or is it you have 15 whales to place during this battle make them count.
Wow this is far and away my favorite Giant Bomb video in a long time. The Austin and Dan combo is so perfect the way they come at discussions at completely opposite ends.
I really hope this series gets to at least the first world before they decide if they should abandon it or not. Or maybe try something new with the format? I thought it was going to be Ben trying to keep everyone in the loop on the story while people rotate in and out but this video shows that's clearly not the case if he already can't remember character names. Like there was plenty of opportunity to riff on what was happening during those cutscenes but they just ignored it. Is that the actual format? Don't pay attention then balk at the nonsense story? I guess it doesn't help that the first few hours of this game are really not great, there is just a WHOLE LOT of running back and forth from areas triggering event or picking up crap. Even then Wonderland has you collecting crap again and Tarzan has you just running from the top of the tree down, over and over again.... oh god the truth is this just isn't a good game is it.
The Wii Shop music made me crack up. Thanks for upping the production quality with the tutorial slides, it goes a long way! Good work, Ben and Brad.
Edit: I would also recommend spawning an enemy into the demo lobby so you can show the audience what each spell looks like and does in more practical terms.
As someone who has no idea about DOTA I love this idea!
