WELP! She was great while she lasted but it's time to take the ol' girl out behind the barn and put er' down. Once you catch the sickness there's no comin' back.
This was my first time watching anything DOTA related and that was pretty damn fun. I now get why so many people watch this, there are some legitimately exciting moments. It probably helped that the people they were playing with seemed like good dudes. There's a whoooole lot that went over my head but having Ben explain the abilities and roles was awesome. I'm looking forward to the next video.
Whatever you guys decide to do I had a great time watching this. Thanks for getting me into this series! I am currently foaming at the mouth the play Kiwami.
I'm a little sad that you guys missed out on the opportunity to do a bunch of cool heat moves while you were teamed up in the Tojo headquarters. @alex If you guys are ever in a fight with allies try keeping an eye out for the heat indicator on the top right. It will show up when your ally has grabbed someone OR when just standing neutral next to them. Love the series keep it up!
Edit: Seeing all these pictures of Majima in future games has me wonder what the hell happens to him!?
@zefpunk: But that's what this game is. It looked like their other option was find x or build y to get gold bricks to unlock bigger variants of the worlds. We didn't get to see what the first item is but considering they weren't even halfway there I think it would have been boring watching dan find cherrys to give to gingerbread men.
@kortul: That's exactly how I felt when he said Vectorman. God I played 1&2 so much I'm sure if I fired it up now I'd still remember most stages. Also, you got to blow up the SEGA intro screen!
@gregalor: That is such a great touch. This is my first time playing a Yakuza game and what sticks out most to me is the work the translation team did. I'm not having to look up why x and what y are, it feels like the situation has been made relatable/understandable to me as a westerner. Maybe that's not the case and the game would still be great with a 'direct' translation but I just figured a game called Yakuza set in late 80's Japan would have so much flying over my head i'd have to play with the internet open.
Except for the dude giving you the DLC packs at the shrine, THAT did go over my head haha!
Oh man this game. My ex and I tried to finish this on the All Stars pack years ago. It got to the point at like world 4 where you just have to keep sprinting to make jumps it felt like. Once we cleared world 8 we cheered so fucking loud only to be greeted by world 9... then world A!?!? What? Then B, then C, then fucking D! We never made it past world D.... god damnit!
Edit: I just looked it up and D was the last set of levels. :(
