I don't see how this would stand up in court. The precedent this would set would essentially destroy first-sale doctrine. This ruling would allow a company like Ford to say I can't sell my Ford Focus because the warranty provided when I bought the car from the dealer has expired and therefore the car is a materially different product now.

The only part of this that holds any water, at least based on what I've read, is Bethesda's claims against him calling the product new. Bethesda does have the right to control the initial distribution of their copyrighted work. Essentially, they choose who can sell "new" Bethesda products. Since this guy isn't an authorized reseller he technically can't sell a "new" game in the sense that in theory this game came from one of Bethesda's resellers and not from Bethesda itself.

From a gameplay standpoint the mechanics hold up fine for the most part. It's a modified D20 based system and if you aren't familiar with how the rules work it can seem a bit janky, but tabletop players still use similar systems. There are definitely some quality of life things that it missed out on by virtue of being an older game.

Playing the OG Xbox version might be a little less fun to look at since you can't mod it.

I always assumed they were meant to try and pressure you into moving to another planet (or area on the planet).

Sorry to bump but I just got back into RB4 on the Xbox and want to find a crew. I can do expert guitar/bass and drums and don't mind doing medium vocals either. I also have 1300 songs.

@wollywoo: Have you double checked the options? In the original Legacy Collection there was a turbo CPU mode that basically eliminated slowdown.

I am currently playing Divinity Original Sin Enhanced and the depth in the combat is great. I love how encounters force you to change your tactics constantly because what works on one enemy doesn't work on another.

@haneybd87: Dive comp died a pretty public death over the weekend. The Overwatch League favorite New York Excelsior got beat in the semi finals largely because they never adapted to the new meta and kept playing dive comp.

@hellbrendy: I feel the exact opposite. If it's a game I love then I know what's coming and don't need to focus or think, which leads my mind to wander back to whatever is making me feel bad.

I would recommend XCOM. I know you wanted something "easy" but XCOM requires you to focus on it which can really help take your mind off things.

Also, any free to play MMO would give you a huge amount of mindless fun of you find the right one.

For me personally, I generally feel done playing right around the time I'd be getting ready for bed. Doesn't make time pass any faster or slower, I just feel like I've had enough at the perfect time.

On topic: ESO is in a really good place right now, especially if you are a fan of Skyrim.

Off topic: I want to first say I think ArenaNet made a mistake in firing both of them. Discuss it with her, give her a clear warning and move on. If you need to have some consequences suspend her without pay for a week or two, but don't fire her.

That said, it also seems very disingenuous to say she wasn't warned. Sure, they may not have sat her down in a room and told her she was warned but I find it impossible to believe that a company the size of ArenaNet doesn't have an employee handbook with a social media policy and guidelines for interactions with partners/vendors/etc. I've worked for much smaller LLCs that have full social media policies. that employees are expected to follow. I'm sure ArenaNet can reasonably argue that she broke their outlined policy.

The more interesting thing for me is the larger context of employer/employee relations. Does ArenaNet have a right to monitor and discipline employees for posts made in personal accounts during personal time? Since she was defending work done for (and owned by ArenaNet) does that weigh more heavily since it could be construed as coming from ArenaNet?

@deathstriker: The Lakers once started Steve Nash, Kobe, Metta World Peace, Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard so no, the Warriors are not the first team in the modern era to start 5 All-Stars, and before the season that team was considered a juggernaut. Also Cousins is an All-Star but also a huge question mark. Also, all things equal, the Warriors offer a lot more just from lifestyle and winning. It's pretty presumptious to tell someone that he shouldn't do what he thinks is best for him because you don't like it. Cousins didn't have a strong market, multiple NBA reporters have reported this. As I pointed out, this isn't just Cousins picking the warriors, it's him gambling that in a year he is worth more than $15 million per year.
