You don't have to buy it again. I bought Elite Dangerous as part of game preview and now can go download Elite Dangerous Core (the full game) for free.
@the_greg: From what I remember, it seems like almost everything Ubi showed was out within the next 12 months. That could mean the next Splinter Cell is in development but not releasing until 2020.
@ares42: I do love that line of thinking though: I don't like this thing on this website therefore no one else does. Why do you keep doing something no one likes? There is no way they have numbers that show otherwise because I don't like them.
Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door is one of Nintendo's best games and the fact that it hasn't gotten an HD remake still hurts me. Geist was also an underrated GameCube shooter. Both KOTOR games are also fantastic.
I really only care about leaks if they come out of left field (Rage 2) or include more than just a title (Blops 4 has no campaign). Most of the time it's hard to call it a leak. "Sources told me Ubisoft is making a new Assassins Creed;" no shit, I could have told you that without a source.
I think leaks coupled with good background reporting are important. For example, Activision wants to push the narrative that the campaign was cut because the narrative is woven into other modes and now those other modes will be better. The actual narrative (based on the little bit of reporting I've seen) is that there were problems with the campaign's development and Activision cut it to avoid delaying the game. That kind of leak gives insight into game development and how a large publisher makes decisions.
LeBron came out passive as a scorer tonight. He knew he needed help to win and tried to get his teammates going early but they again didn't provide enough help.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he checked out like he did against Boston in 2010. If he is leaving in free agency no point in spending more energy on a lost cause.
JR Smith is one of the biggest blunders I've ever seen in a basketball game, like "Weber calling for timeout" big. I've been to Oracle (and several other NBA buildings) and it's pretty hard to find a spot where you can't see a scoreboard. There is no excuse for not knowing time and score, especially that late in a close game.
As far as the call reversal, I think the refs made the right call. The rules allow them to review the entire play, not just factors such as whether the defender was in the restricted area. I get why people are upset, it's a rarely used rule that came up in a pivotal moment, but the refs did their job and made the right call.
