I didn't care for 24, it had an interesting gimmick, but the america rah rah rah doesn't work on me, and if you can't get behind that, the show doesn't offer much.
The reason they aren't announcing it is because they want PS3/360 sales to continue, they want to maximize profit and get as many repeat sales as possible this means PS3/360/PS4/Xbone and PC, potentially they'll be able to sell the game twice to many people, if not three times at a full retail price.
If they had said right before the new consoles out, hey were releasing a PS4 and Xbone version in a couple months, this would of soured sales of the PS3 and 360 versions, delaying next gen+PC release is the best way to maximize the profit.
I have little doubt that the PC version is done and ready, merely on standby.
Sarkeesian is a story of how to milk money from Kickstarter, all you need is some yuppies like feminists and the white knights who chase after them some big words, and the dedication to putting as little money into the project as possible.
It's pretty fun, sadly I think the best bit is the combat though, which is not a bad thing, I was just expecting the opposite, I've always loved turned based RPG's and the inclusion of "quick time" actions to reward you spices it up, this is what Final Fantasy should of done after FFX Not this real time action crap which was the straw that broke my back with the series.
Video game news industry is pathetic, it's not the fault of anyone, but when you report on a subject that is so slow moving, you report on what you can otherwise you aren't making the profit to keep running.
