Seems to be working just fine for me now. I tried doing what I did before as well as playing with all of the options and nothing broke it. *thumbs up*

Fireworks bother both me and the animals, and I don't have any resonance with the ideological content. Bottom-tier holiday in my estimation.

Elden Ring would be Froms best game if Sekiro didn't exist.

So give me that Sekiro sequel that takes place in an Elden Ring sized render of China.

Every day I wake up and wonder if I'm going to get another chance to feel the high of Sekiro's combat again. Until then, I sleep...

I've seen this a few times. For me it seems to mostly be caused by pasting something when the message box has been extended.

...leverage what is now one of the main unique propositions of GB - a dedicated website? Otherwise ya’ll should just go to Twitch.

Yeah, the fact that GB is a dedicated place is one of a couple of things that attracts me to it. In a world where everything is being consolidated onto massive platforms, it's a nice break from that.

The doubling down on Discord has me bummed in that regard. I kind of hate Discord, and the last 5+ years have seen it become the de facto choice for literally any sort of "community". In some situations it works OK, in others not so much, and in either case you're stuck within the confines of the platform. I get why people use it, and I'm probably not in the majority on this, but...yeah. I'm not excited by the idea of things ending up bifurcated between the site and Discord.

I've still got a ton of sub time left, so I'm just gonna coast on that while things develop. If they really push heavily into "Discord-exclusive" content, premium isn't going to be doing much for me other than as a method to support the site. Which, you know, I guess I don't really mind that if the site content keeps me going.

@liquiddragon: I say play it anyways. If you love this style of game, then you will at least get something out of RE0 even if it doesn't stack up to RE1.

I also say give it a shot. It's got the vibes, I just didn't like how punishing it could be, so I played it on Easy which is much more generous with items/ammo than either Normal or Hard.

Okay, I'm actually sort of with you on the ranch on pizza thing, because I regularly dip my pizza in ranch and it's not that much of a stretch to just replace the sauce with it. That said, I think I'd do a blend of that and a white sauce, simply because I think the ranch would be overpowering? I'd try it, at least.

You could also buy (or make) a ranch dressing mix, which is just a powder, and add it to the sauce of your choice. That would get you a more traditional pizza sauce combined with ranch flavor.

@rahf: Indeed. The game pretty clearly telegraphs that MacGuffin very early on, which is the only reason why I felt OK mentioning it.

For story-related reasons: don't stop to clean up side missions when the second game wants to thrust you into immediate action along the critical path. The outcome will shift dramatically if you even deviate a bit, and if memory serves there's time to clean up after you finish the main story.

To add to this, once you acquire the Reaper IFF, the game will give you a very limited amount of time before it forces a plot event on you that pushes you toward the endgame. How you respond to that event will affect the story going forward. So, if you care about getting the "best" possible ending, you'll want to do all the available important things like loyalty missions and ship upgrades before you acquire the Reaper IFF. The game will then give you enough time to do the one important side mission that becomes available after acquiring the Reaper IFF before it activates the crucial plot event.
