Oh snap, LocoRoco! I played the heck out of the second one, which was pretty much the same gameplay as the first one, but with a lot more lasting power.
I have played and enjoyed Harvest Moon and Rune Factory games in the past, but I'm finding Stardew Valley more balanced and rewarding and with less obtuse social interactions. I've put over 70 hours into the game, and it's very close to being my top-played Steam game of all time. I did prefer the combat in Rune Factory though -- more enemy types, monster-taming, mounts, etc.
Some of my favorite videos on giant bomb are when they played this game. Vinny and Alex playing it was abskjtely hilarious. I wish I had 3 friends I could play this with its so funny! I'm recovering from my 4th surgery since January so this is fun for me to have in the hospital bed
I've been playing Crypt of the Necrodancer recently! My friend got it for me in the last steam sale :D I had difficulty with the third zone, but I beat it today. Partially because I'm getting better, but also because I got some good items that run :P You can practice with individual enemies in the lobby, which is really useful for learning their patterns without all the chaos of OTHER enemies attacking you at the same time. The soundtrack is one of the best I've heard in a game in a while.
Edit: WAAAAIT...guaranteed items?! *rushes back to zone 2*
