maybe there are 3 times as many PS4's online compared to how many Xbone's there are online? Or maybe no one wants to use Internet Explorer on the Bone? Or hell I don't know now I am off to watch some porn on my PS4.
I am sitting here kinda stunned and the only contact I had with Ryan was a cheeky email about movies that I hadn't seen and one he hadn't. I hadn't seen any Fast and Furious and he came back with he hadn't seen Shawshank Redemption. It was a nice wee chuckle between two people who never met or indeed lived on the same side of the world. I will miss his Bombcast hosting the most every week and all my thoughts go to his new Wife and his family. Man what a bummer. RIP
I've been reading books longer than I have been playing video games (or in any case more consistently). Video games stories are a joke so I don't go to them for my Story needs - I go to novels for that. Put a gun to my head and say pick books or video games and its an easy choice. I would miss video games but hey I read more novels than I play games. That said I don't read novels about video games very much or ever really. My Kindle is my most precious piece of technology.
its a Naughty Dog thing - they have long loads at the start and then none when you are playing. Uncharted 2 and 3 did it and now TLoU does it. Its a design decision to have none after the initial load. I'll take a 3 min load at the start if it means none at all after that.
I killed all 3 with my bare hands - no hesitation, didn't see anyone go for anything, I just barged in and killed them all in the most brutal way. I didn't consider not killing them. They were going to kill Ellie and Joel could not let that happen and I was in total agreement with him. Joel did not think it was a fair trade and I agree with him. After what happened to his Daughter - not at the hands of an infected but a human - and all the terrible things he has seen and done to survive I did not disagree with him not caring if Humanity finds a cure. Humanity killed his Daughter. End of.
